The extremely passive and helpless language used in conversations regarding climate change bugs the fuck out of me. No, temperatures aren’t magically “rising”, nor should we “be prepared to hit *temperatures* by *year*”— as if it’s inevitable. Like it’s been inevitable. Like it’s natural.

The people running the industries responsible need to be called out and held accountable for their selfish, pernicious voluntary negligence. Language and proper framing is where it starts. Words shape our reality
