Missing my friend Katy; she's somewhere around Pennsylvania right now, whatever that state looks like (I'm in CA).
My sister Lynn keeps saying she wants to have kids, because she wants to preserve her personality legacy by having a child and making it "as funny as [her]." She wishes she could just clone myself; I said it would probably be easier if she budded off, like polyps, and it would be a great weight-loss solution as well.
On June 1st, my friends and fellow classmates graduated from RISD (achievement unlocked! Foursquare badge acquired, etc). We walked out by major, and for the graphic design class turned we turned our caps into Pantone chips (my color was 7486!). There were a number of interesting hats and costumes, since we aren't required to wear traditional graduation gear, and encouraged to make alterations. My friend Deb turned her gown into a Gilmore girl inspired dress, complete with tiny hat, and another friend even made a full suit of armor (not like a knight, but of his own design).
Everything that I've learned and experienced these past four years, was absolutely wonderful and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. I relish more than I regret, and hope I retain all that I have seen, heard, touched, smelled, love(d), and cherish(ed).
Congratulations to RISD Class of 2013! Best of luck to all of us.
Today I received a gift in the mail from one of my professors, Cyrus Highsmith. He came into the type shop where I monitor with his daughter, and I set up some wood type for them to print. Cyrus decided to return the favor with a super sweet print of his own. This'll definitely be going on the wall in my apartment in SF! (The plaster hand cast is part of my degree project and not part of the gift, I needed something to weigh down the paper because it was windy today.)
Akzidenz will happen.

Anne is an exchange student from Helsinki. She wears big sunglasses and has a deaf, albino reindeer friend named Peter.
Graduating in a month!
Classic nap trap, happens even to the best of us.
Juniper has a new way of getting your suscription to you! This service is only available in San Francisco (for now).
We watched Jorgen Leth's Perfect Human in class today. This is like, the third time I've watched it, and I still can't get over the silver gogo boots.
So apparently today was Sibling Day...
Barely any room for your own thoughts in DP, but we try...
Time matters, but not really I guess, in DP class.
