whenever i read y/n inserts, i don’t even insert myself in those stories LOL i literally will read y/n as y/n like it’s some character because y/n inserts are literally not realistic whatsoever and i’m okay with that. like obviously i don’t look like a model and have idol friends?? also the guys in the couple photos aren’t even the idol in question but no one ever complains about it smh it’s a fictional story for a reason. i get that anon’s sentiment but it was a rather rude way to word it

HAHAHA YES no matter how “ realistic ” i make it out to be ( this applies to my other fics too be it smau or not ) realistic fiction is still fiction y/n might not do things or react to situations the way the readers will because like you said , y/n’s !! just ! a ! character !!! i’ll try my best to make y/n as “ neutral ” as possible but even then there are limitations and if there are people who still don’t like my smau then don’t read it , it’s just that simple ! and of course i love receiving feedback because i wanna create stories that y’all like but please just let me have a good time on here HAHAHAH PLEASE 😭🙏🏻

I mean in your defense it’s hard to avoid using photos including yn without showing a skin tone unless you just don’t ever have her post pics of herself. I understand OP’s comment (sorta rudely phrased though) but with social media aus aka a visual medium with photos it’s hard to be perfect with neutral descriptions of the yn bc I’m the situations where you want to post pics of her it’s impossible to not show her race asian or other

firstly thank you so much for writing this you summed up my initial reaction perfectly :”) the main point of my smau is the story not the pictures and i thought including them was like a bonus to make the story more immersive but thinking back i probably just added them for the ~ aesthetic ~ so the bottom line is if the pictures don't contribute to the story i won't add them in anymore ! hopefully more people will enjoy my smau then 💘 again thank you for this i really appreciate it
