Nozomi: Hey, Eito-kun?

Eito: [Not looking up from the book he was reading] Hm?

Nozomi: Who is your nii-san really? How come he never takes his mask off??

Eito: [Looks up at nozomi in interest] "..."

Nozomi: "...And you said you're not related too..."

Eito: [Closes the book in his hands] "Oh, funny you should ask that. I also don't know."

Nozomi: "Huh?! You don't know either?"

Eito: "I have theories though."

Nozomi: "You do?"

Eito: [Gets up, places his book on a nearby table and stands in front of a curtain] "Yeah, come look."

[Eito pulls back a curtain in his room, revealing a large conspiracy board]

Nozomi: [Looking up at the board in awe] "Wooaah"

Eito: "I've been keeping track of all the clues i've gottwn so far-"

[The two continue to converse back and forth as nozomi excitedly asks questions and eito answers them with equal vigor]

can you write some normal twin shenanigans with Ima and Kako? almost everything I've read about them is so sad and heartbreaking i just want them to fight each other for the last piece of cake or something lol

You're SO REAL I know they have a heartbreaking story but idc I'm literally sitting them down at a table with bowls of soup with ipads in front of them they deserve the world

General Tsukumo Twins Headcanons

They’ll have a lot of weird inside jokes that no one else understands. ("It’s like that microwave moment!!") Everyone else is left deeply disturbed and confused.

They can communicate in half sentences and gibberish. They’ve developed a twin dialect so specific it might as well be telepathy. They once had an entire conversation in the cafeteria composed only of fork stabs, slurping, dramatic gasps, and eyebrow waggles, which then ended by Kako throwing a mushroom at him and starting a food fight.

They share everything. There’s no “mine” or “yours," only “ours.” What's his is hers and what's hers is his. Makeup, hair ties, clothes, half a bag of chips, they share it all.

Both twins have naturally wavy hair, though Ima’s is slightly thicker. Kako's always trying to get Ima to leave his hair alone because of how fried it is from the constant dying and touching up and straightening and he refuses. That said, she’s the one who gets deep conditioners from the Gift-O-Matic and pretends not to notice when they mysteriously run out faster than expected.

Despite Ima's initial hesitance to get too comfortable with the food while at Last Defense Academy, the two end up discovering all kinds of new favorite foods and desserts. Takemaru ends up offering the twins a slice of cake he was too full to finish, and from then on, the twins' sweet tooth could rival Darumi's.

Constant. Bickering. Kako's mastered the art of ragebaiting, and Ima will take the bait seething every single time.

Ima’s always had a hard time with separation, especially outside of his structured night jobs. But when Kako starts finding her own rhythm (taking time alone, exploring ruins without him, etc), it only gets worse.

Kako loves him, she really does, but at the same time, she can't help but start being sick of the constant smothering. Her needing space clashes badly with Ima's need for her to be right there at all times, it causes a lot of fights.

In an attempt to not drive himself insane, he ends up spending a lot of time with Takemaru and by extension, Shouma. Watching them train or hanging out with them in the Rec Room is surprisingly calming.

SDU with their Danganronpa Best Friends

Takumi: Protagonists stick together, obviously. He's closer to Makoto and Komaru more than the other protagonists (he thinks Hajime's kind of a dick) but he likes playing co-op games with Chiaki, too.

Eito: Keebo! Keebo finds him a little awkward, but they hang out in the library all the time. Eito tolerates Rantaro, Ryoma, and Kirumi.

Hiruko: She wouldn't have any best friends, really, but she likes Kyoko and Kaede. Occasionally hangs out with Maki and Kaito by extension.

Darumi: Junko and Mukuro. Junko and Darumi harass Mikan on the daily. She'd get along with Syo, but prefers making fun of Toko.

Takemaru: Mondo and Sakura. They like to workout together and Mondo and Takemaru are yelling at each other the entire time.

Shouma: Him and Gonta would get along well! They'd like to go look at bugs together. Also him and Nagito have "no, I'M the scum of the earth" competitions daily.

Ima: Celestia teaches him how to gamble and lie his ass off. Also I think him and Ibuki would play music together.

Kako: Shuichi and Kyoko! They like to solve mysteries and have Kako tag along.

Gaku: Teruteru! Cooking up a feast for everyone and gooning while they're at it, we love to see it.

Tsubasa: Also Keebo along with Miu and Chihiro! She'd 100% try to take Keebo apart. She likes Kazuichi but he's too perverted for her to really think of him as a best friend.

Nozomi: Aoi, Chiaki, Mahiru, and Hiyoko by extension. She tries to be friends with Toko, it's a work in progress.

Kurara: Byakuya, Celestia, and Sonia, obviously! Why would she even think about hanging out with the rest of those losers?! (She honestly likes Kazuichi's company when he's not being freaked out. They like talking about building stuff.)

Kyoshika: Her and Tsumugi spend hours talking about manga. The ten day long Gaku yuri speech but it's these two instead and they just feed off each other.

Yugamu: Likes Rantaro a lot. Tries to be friends with Maki, but she doesn't want anything to do with him.

Moko: Nekomaru, Akane, and Tenko!! They spar and wrestle and train together all the time. (Himiko sometimes tags along and cheers them on)

okay okay cool! so i was thinking about how since it's canon that Eito wet the bed til he was ten, maybe some headcanons about his bedwetting problems coming back while at LDA since he's stuck with a bunch of people he doesn't know for the next 100 days or so?

you know what hell yeah.

Eito Aotsuki Bedwetting Headcanons

The wretched incontinence that he worked so hard to get under control starts again within the first week of being at Last Defense Academy. The new environment, the constant noise, the sights and scents of these new people who he's literally stuck with for 3 months- it’s too much for his brain to handle. His body reverts to old coping mechanisms, and he wakes up to the morning announcement grumbling to himself before realizing that his hips and thighs are wet and cold.

As if things couldn't get any worse, a few seconds after coming to terms that yes, he actually wet the bed again like a child, he makes eye contact with Sirei standing at the foot of the bed. For a horrifying moment Eito imagines him laughing, or worse, pitying him. But he doesn’t do either. The mascot just kinda blinks. His eyes flick down at the soaked sheets, then back up to Eito’s face. Eito flinches like he’s been struck.

"Aotsuki! I know such a big change can be a lot for young minds like yourselves, but I never would've expected something like this to happen since I thought I picked potty trained soldiers. Eh, luckily for you, we've got only the best laundry detergent and enzymatic cleaner humanity can make! The laundry room is open at all times, so you might wanna hurry along unless you want a rash. Just be sure to check your bedding tags for wash settings, we wouldn't want any shrinkage to happen on top of your little accident here!"

Eito wants to disappear. He wants to scream. He’s so red in the face he might combust. The closest thing to mercy right now would be to crawl into the nearest hole and die. He's too old for this, he's left this humiliating part of him behind, god damn it.

A few days later, he wakes up in soaked sheets again, much to his frustration. He doesn’t even jolt awake the second time, he just feels it. Damp and wet and childish. His eyes open and there it is: that same, sick, shameful wetness creeping across his legs and the mattress. He quickly shuffles out of bed to clean himself up, hurrying to the laundry room at 1 in the morning to wash his sheets again.

Eito pretty much suffers like this about every other day or so until around day 23-24, when Takumi gets stranded and ends up at Second to Last Defense Academy. That's when he's finally having dry nights again. It's like a weight off his shoulder for the time being, and he assumes the victory of successfully getting rid of that nuisance relieves whatever part of his brain that's causing this torment. The night Takumi comes back with more people, Eito swears to personally slit his throat and make sure he watches the bastard die this time as he hurries to the laundry room.

Despite this, his accidents slowly get less and less frequent as he gets more comfortable. As comfortable as he could possibly be, anyway. He slips into a routine that kinda helps despite how embarrassing it is. No more liquids after dinner, use the bathroom before going to bed, making himself go to the bathroom even when he doesn't really need to, etc. Eventually, it simmers down into a once-a-week thing, which Eito will happily take over washing his sheets almost every other day.
