Seeing as I’ve been gone for a fair enough time. It stands to reason, I ought to reintroduce myself.

I’m Roach, Ant, or Rat. Depends on who you ask. I’m also called Ant-Man, Roach-Man, Yapyap, Scratch, Rat Bastard, and all other manner of nickname. I do art. I’m no professional, but I’m in it for the joy of creation. I like to think of myself as an optimist all the way through. I try to keep positive no matter what, and if you ever need a kind word, I would be happy to talk :3

Hard Reference/Study to develop some new rules of thumb to add onto my current structuring method. Also played around with shading, moving away from straight black. These studies are really nice for learning as it takes the weight of the end goal away and simply allows you to focus on how to make said end goal. Rather than experimenting and looking for a certain result, you have the result and are experimenting on how to get there.

Its important to remember that you are not trying to study to make a good work or as practice. The goal is to learn something, ANYTHING. The larger the study, the bigger scope of things you can find to critique yourself. Take note of the things you want to get better at, that way you can collect the proper resources for more specific studies. The knowledge you take away from the study shouldn't necessarily be from someone else, it should be what you can extrapolate and UNDERSTAND for yourself. The information provided by others should be trusted but verified, critique the info and confirm how much of it is actually of help to you!

My lions mane is coming along wonderfully

I have a massive surplus of empty unburned dvds, a disc burner, and a computer with internet connection. What the hell do I do with these discs? Open to suggestions (doesn’t have to be strictly burning movies and music onto them)

There’s probably about 20 or so discs in total, haven’t counted the ones in the tower yet

I got these fish, about a dozen red-finned tetras and these blue/orange striped fish, rainbow shiners. Anyway, two of my shiner females are pregnant, one of them like mega pregnant, but she keeps gettin harassed by the three males in the group. As punishment I have turned off their light (the sun).
