Have A Seat || Amara & Lisette
Amara didn’t seem to understand what she was referring to, but she just let it slide. It wasn’t worth making a thing of it. “Yes,” she nodded and smiled as the woman sat down. The Siren put her phone back into her bag and set it on the ground. She was sure it would ring again soon, but for now she needed a break. Lisette had been considering bringing Amara into the other side of the business, but she hadn’t been able to get a good enough read on the woman yet. She knew that a few of the girls probably suspected something else was going on, but she was too discreet for them to connect the dots completely. “So how have you been? We don’t get to talk very often, I feel like I know nothing about you.”
The Siren was right, they didn't talk to each other on personal level much and Lisette really had no idea who Amara was. The Djinn had an inkling of what the other Mythic was like but she didn't know much about the woman herself. "I've been good, keeping busy. Now that the Holi party is over I am a lot more relaxed since I don't have to plan anything. But I also miss that kind of busy. It gives me something to keep myself occupied with." The death of her parents still weighed her down, the party had been a minor distraction that she welcomed. "What about you, settled in well by now?"
