DOGS PULLING ON YOUR GUIDE ROPES
January 16 2015 I decided to head east, making my way to the Sahara. Camping in moroccan towns, Beware of the dogs. Howling at night and tugging on your guide ropes in the morning. After hitchiking with locals, tourists and buisness men giving me lectures on planning my transport better, oposed to waiting at the side of roads for random people to pick me up, I got to Zagora. I made friends with a local hotel pool cleaner at 11pm whilst walking along the road, he offered me some food and a place to stay without asking for a penny. I sat with his family communicating with my broken french and a little arabic, drank alot of tea and watched the turkish version of eastenders translated into Arabic.
My good friend Cheggers has started a new blog to document all his travels. He already has a few posts up from a trip through Northern Africa, that I joined him on for part of the way in Morocco back in dec last year.
If you like travel and analogue photography it's worth checking out
Hiked deep into the forest and camped the other night with 4 amigos. We made campfire pizza for the first time with great results. Love it that this counts as research for the print project I’m working on.
