A press Q and A.
The journalists were quick to hurry into the hall to ask as many questions to man of the week. The almighty Lucas Friar who had not only managed to tame one of the newly found frost dragons and set them free from its icy cage after a thousand years, but stop an illegal egg ring in the north. Among other things of course.
The scribbling of ink on fresh parchment never seemed to die down. They had been at it for the last hour, yet their quills and clicking of moving picture cameras seemed to go faster then their brains.
âIs it true that you've taken it on yourself to see if the latest tale in the newest release of The Tales of Beedle the Bard, is in fact not a fairytale but a true tale of the frost dragons that has just been forgotten and awaiting for the right person to uncover it?â A lady with a long golden bun with two curls coming from each side said in awe. He nodded. âYes.â Lucas said truthfully.
âAt this moment in time, all evidence is pointing  in to that direction. We are currently agreeing on the fact the newly released Tales of Beedle the Bard, was not a wizard fable at all, but a very true story they has been held under our noses all along. Just kept as a fairytale to keep us off the trail. Next question. I'm a busy man with a lot of mythical creatures to save so I'll only take four more.â
With that people waved their quills up in the air, so very wanting him to to answer their questions before the A & Q ended.âYes. You, what's your name?â A short sturdy man began to wiggle his moustache a little before he pointed directly at him.âIs it true that you had the Crucio curse flung right at you, but you went ahead and dodged it before it hit you?â With that he awaited in anticipation.
âOkay, that's a lie.â Lucas said with a half smile. âIt was actually the avada kedavra curse. It almost killed me but I dodged it. Next question.âA freckled green eyed boy, no more then 18 years of age piped up with his question without even letting Lucas call on him. He was so desperate to know the truth and with so little time he burst in with his burning question. âIs it true that you was tackled by a Dementor that was sent your way to silence your voice about the illegal taking of unicorn horns?â
âNo. I'd say that there was at least twenty of them. Â I didn't have the time to count them really."Â The whole press was on absolute shock. However he was just running out of time. He had to make it back to Hogwarts University to study for his final dragon exam.
âJust one more question. You've not spoken yet. So i'll take yours as my last one. What's your question sweetie?â Lucas smiled with a certain charismatic air about him. If he knew that that very reporter was the daughter of Rita Skeeter then he would have probably wouldn't have let her ask him a question at all.The little brunette blushed such a blush that it made her cheeks glow in a candy apple red that had no intention of dying down. âOkay. It's a personal question really. You're job must be so hard Mr. Friar. Have you lost any family member or friends over this?â
âNo. Everyone understands that it's always been my dream job to protect the magical creatures of our world who cannot speak for themselves. Unless you're a very small blondie with a very suborn temper. I understand that you didn't like the way I went to study dragons, but straight on ignoring me when I speak to you in the Hogwarts Hallways is childish.â Lucas said with a smile. âBut you see, a lot of girls in my life have decided to show their affection towards me because they truly understand that what i'm doing is just fine. So if you're a little concerned about my well being. You should just say so.â
He said in a childish way like he way he did in the Hogwarts halls in first grade when he took Maya's finger and wiggled it. Â He was playing his and Maya's little game even to the press too.Which would be perfectly fine, as he was planning just for Maya to know that he was speaking just to her in the Daily Prophet. That was of course until the daily prophet, and Rita Skeeter's daughter dug deeper into who the blonde short girl was in Lucas' Friar's life, and twisted his words all together.
And so what was plastered on the front page of the daily prophet was a moving picture of Lucas Friar saying the following words which he didnât say at all.
Daily Prophet
âVery angry blondie, size of a tiny leprechaun with a very stubborn temperament Called Maya Hartâ
Which he didn't say at all.
And the sub-caption readÂ
â Goes after a our very own Lucas Friar. When will the hatred to our one and only Wizard Hero End? ...âÂ
âOh wo-oh-wo.â Lucas said a day later with his arms on his chest and his Left eyebrow raised high at her. "Are you really not speaking to me about this? I mean, You were not speaking to me anyway, but I didn't plan for them to write that about you anyway.
I never said anything like that! Which is exactly what you would of known if you did the same thing as Riley and Farkle and turned up to my Q and A. You know, like a real friend would do. I know that you're having a short stack of pancakes moment of rage towards me, but seriously, This has to end Maya.â
