i just rewatched darvey’s wedding in the finale and am full on sobbing bc i remember watching it for the first time and not liking the song they chose for them to dance to; “perfect” felt too current and mainstream at the time, but now looking back and hearing “we were just kids when we fell in love” LIKE YEAH THEY WERE THEY WERE BABIES AT THE DA’S OFFICE AND LOOK HOW FAR THEY’VE COME & THEN “i will not give you up this time” LIKE AFTER HOW MANY TIMES THEY RAN AWAY FROM EACH OTHER OUT OF FEAR BUT NOW THEY’VE FINALLY DONE IT LIKE DAMMIT I LOVE THESE TWO IDIOTS SO MUCH IT HURTS
This is exactly what I feel when rewatching Suits’ last ep. I was kinda thrown off by the song during first watch years ago like why did they choose a mainstream one for such a beautiful scene let alone a cheesy Ed Sheeran song?? But boy did the lyrics fit so perfectly now 😭😭😭
