Harry tweeting lyrics does not mean that Larry is real. Harry tweeting lyrics does not mean that Harry is “outing” himself. Harry tweeting lyrics means he’s (most likely) listening to a song and decided to tweet those lyrics.
yeah and why would he be listening to that song if he wasn’t gay?
Why would he be listening to that song if he doesn’t have bipolar disorder? If he’s not overweight? Do people call him ‘too opinionated’? Is his family dysfunctional? Does he sometimes cry the whole day? Does he love his butt? Maybe even he’s just scared of the dark and the dentist.
That song isn’t about being gay; it’s not. Not at all. It’s about a gay bipolar fat lady loving every part of herself despite the shit people throw at her for it.
We don’t know if Harry tweeted a lyric from it because just likes the song (it does have a catchy beat and a good message), or if he tweeted it because he relates with parts of the song. And even if he relates to it, we don’t know which part of it he relates to. It could be the line about being gay, yes, but it could also be any of the other parts of the song. It could even be just about the refrain, “I don’t care if the world knows what my secrets are”, and his secrets might be completely different from Mary Lambert’s secrets.
Please don’t diminish the meaning of such a great and powerful self-love song for people who face a lot of shit, just to make it about this boy who has never openly claimed to be anything but another white cis straight fit guy.
all i'm going to say is vance joy has a popular song with the same lyric and he's folk pop, considering harry's music taste i'm pretty sure there's a good chance he meant to reference riptide. mary's song is great I'M JUST SAYING PEOPLE ARE GOING NUTS ABOUT IT AND IT ISN'T EVEN NECESSARILY THE RIGHT SONG
