I've been re-reading Ghost Rider Vol. 8, and for some reason I only just noticed this now. Or maybe I'm misunderstanding something because of translation issues — if that's the case, please explain it to me 🙏

(But tell me — am I the only one who feels like Amadeus actually got dumber after becoming the Hulk? In the Hercules comic, I was constantly impressed by his intelligence and how he could plan everything steps ahead. But now there are so many moments where he's honestly just being dense. I'm guessing it's probably because he has superpowers now, so the focus is on those instead, and they kind of just shrugged off the fact that he's supposed to be a genius.)

And I probably agree with them more than anyone else. Still, he looks absolutely incredible even with a shaved head.

While drawing this, I realized that I actually hate drawing 😬

When I was working on my previous piece, I was thinking, “Damn, I really love drawing clothes.” But this time, all I could think about was how much I hated it. I’ve always loved rendering and painting skin, but now I FUCKING HATE IT. I repainted the skin tones so many times from the very beginning because they kept looking like absolute crap.

Hahaha, I was sitting there cursing at them like, “Why the hell do you have such complicated costumes, especially Amadeus’ (every single stripe was drawn by hand) Couldn’t you have made something simpler?”

The only genuinely enjoyable part was the sketching stage, and even that was only until I realized I had no idea which hairstyle to keep for Amadeus. (Yes, in the end I chose the one I personally liked, not the one that was closer to the canon design.)

And now I’m looking at this and thinking, “Why did I spend so much time on this?” Just two pieces of crap, but somehow they’re kinda cute too hahaha.

I love drawing, but at the same time, I fucking hate drawing. Is this even normal? 🫠

But honestly, I’m happy with the result. It turned out pretty much exactly how I imagined it in my head
