Well, Buenos Aires. It's time to say "hasta luego" again. It feels weird to be leaving so soon, six months after arriving and planning to be here for absolutely ages, but life has a way of taking weird twists and turns and sending us down paths we didn't realise were open to us. To be honest, I wouldn't want it any other way. Now that I'm in the airport and looking back at the time I've had here, I realise again just how good it was and how lucky I've been from beginning to end. I can't possibly thank my friends, my colleagues and my students enough, for their constant support and care, and for generally being loads and loads of fun and making my life so enjoyable. Each and every one of you has been amazing. Muchisimas gracias. That said, it's definitely time to move on to something even bigger and better, and I can't wait to land in Quito and get started. The future is more exciting than I can possibly put into words and I'm looking forward to every single second. It's gonna be absolutely amazing. Once more, this is not "goodbye" or "adios". I'm never going to say those words to Buenos Aires or to my friends here, who've given me so much and made my life so much better. It's definitely a "see you later".
