What if... BloodyMary surfing AU. Simon as the instructor, because blood ocean n all that. A shark has bitten off his arm, but that does not matter because he is absolutely INSANEE at 'riding the waves', you know??

And Grace goes surfing with his kids as a school trip, Simon is their instructor, ....

So you know the headcanon that Eden is a religious cult right. There are these chains/rings that make one's hands stay in a prayer position and hurt the wearer.. they'd have and use them in Eden too.

Simons bracelet with the leaf of The Last Tree is like his rosary, and he would spend hour after hour, day after day, kneeling before The Last Tree, with his hands bound in a prayer position.
