Well damn, I just found out that I dodged the bullet working with CJ way back in March 2019 for a layout design thanks to looking at a very old HDD backup folder for my desktop [yes, I hardly use my desktop to see icons, it's all hidden for my wallpaper]. He gave me hardly anything to work with, just linked two sites [marapets and lunapets] and blamed me for not having creativity in the end. Seeing that PSD and the filename of santae_wip back on March 25th, 2019 made me gasp and go "NO WAY". I'm so glad I was quick to block him because of his lack of professionalism and ignoring what I said for the placeholders since he only sent some assets that didn't even help? No mockups, no wireframes, nothing. He wanted an outright copy which I told him flat out then I'm not going to copy. He said he would provide images and I agreed. I spent 2 hours just to see if it was what he wanted and he said outright to me I had no creativity, how the placeholders were empty (despite him saying he would provide assets when he gave me nothing to use for that despite the thread I linked him to saying ALL ASSETS have to be provided). It took 9 minutes to block him. Took him that short amount of time to be blocked by me. I hardly block people. He was that rude and had the audacity to blame his lack of vision on me.
So fast forward to now: It's no wonder the familiarity feeling I had with the site name and refused to join it when it launched since I felt something was off. My gut is usually right so I follow it. [For those wondering: I didn't charge upfront so that was a lesson learned and one I follow to a T now. I didn't want to even try or waste time trying to get it from him since his behavior was awful. I was unemployed at the time too.]
