Joseph was kind enough allow me to photograph him and his close family friends on an early boston morning. they were very quiet, a bit unusual, and did not say hello. despite their dramatic drinking of water, they did not offer me any. i was a bit bothered by this but eventually let it go when I saw them jump in the bin and splash around a bit. they did seem to say goodbye but our language differences made it very difficult to communicate.

sometimes I’ll have an extremely meh day and then get a notifications that a few people liked a silly photo I took and then I open the app and see the silly photo and then I’m happy

Encountered the most terrifying bird today

the birds are super skittish right now in Boston

I think it’s because of all the kids running around and trying to scare them

which is sweet because they usually mean no harm but it scares the birds way more than they think

the other day a girl saw me taking photos of pigeons and she asked me questions about it and I said that I literally only take photos of pigeons and she laughed and then I showed her my instagram and she got quiet
