Emergency Discount Commissions Open! I went to the vet because my dog Isolde had a really bad looking tooth and it turns out that it is broken and needs to be extracted.
Isolde is just the most precious mutt in the world and she sees me through my PTSD, depression and anxiety like a champ. She has done so much for me and I cannot imagine how much her tooth is hurting right now. I want to be able to help her and do what we can. She’s been there for me since she was just a tiny pup!
The bill will be about $1,250 if there are no complications and this will completely drain all of my savings with no wa yof replenishing them.If there are any complications to the surgery we won’t be able to afford the results. While I have been looking for work I am physically disabled and job prospects are very slim.
I genuinely hate to ask but I am opening up discount commissions at flat rate prices and if anyone has ever thought of getting a commission from me I implore you now is the time!
Please e-mail [email protected] with your commission request and we can discuss the details.
Got questions? My askbox is open!
Thank you everyone who has already reblogged this I really appreciate spreading the word!
Two people have contacted me about donations and I will be accepting donations, but I would really like to make something in return for your help! Even if you can’t think of what to get as a commission all you need to do is say your favourite animal or flower or whatever and I’ll make something for you.
I really appreciate your support. Thank you all so much.
Please help my friend and their sweet pup!!!!
My vision of an artist :)
For me, we are all a part of an amazing garden, each of us making a part of it And we are all a little seed falling on the ground of being an artist.
The flowers represent our passion and like in a garden, many types exists !
When we know what we love the adventure begins, we meet amazing artists that will inspire us to grow up !
Flowers needs the rain to grow up, so your passion will need some difficulties to grow as well. Après la pluie vient le beau temps- After the rain comes the sun !
And then at your turn you will inspire the young and new flowers to grow as well !
For the talented artists I used the colors of the flowers to show the directions they chose, many went to lots of them while some artists preferred to only chose one (like the lion and the white flowers) since, the flower on the tail is red, that means that choosing one direction can lead you to another one in the futur, who know ? You don’t see it yet :)
I hope this little reminder will help you keeping going !! Always keep it up and KEEP GOING !!
Bonne chance :) that means Good luck in French ^^

“At The Still Hour Of Midnight The Graves Shall Open And A Vast Multitude Shall Rise”, 12"x16", gouache & watercolor on paper. This piece is sold but you can still visit the original at Nucleus Portland until June 22nd!
Wondering about these weird long titles on my pieces? Well, they’re all modified excerpts from a spooky book called “The Prophecies of the Brahan Seer” (published in 1899) which I pulled randomly off a shelf in the occult section of a used book store in Vancouver a couple weeks ago; the Brahan Seer was allegedly the invention of the author as no other record of him exists, but lines from the book are so metal I couldn’t resist using them as inspiration for the titles of a body of work about mystical animal revenge 🌸
No laughing, please—itches aren’t so easy when you’ve got tiny ‘gator limbs.

Day Two: Awakening
The 6th grade was a super duper stressful time for me since 1.) I was going thru ~puberty~ and 2.) I was surrounded by people who really didn’t like me for “me”, so I had to change/hide parts of myself to fit in with my Cool and Popular Friends. Figured that’d be a prime time for powers to kick in lmaoo.
@espersona
$50,000 immediately dropped into my bank account wouldn't improve EVERYTHING but boy it sure would be a grand, sexy little start to a good, happy life path, don't you think
hey so if you want to request I draw stuff you can do that. I don’t really have my own art style so just kind of expect me to try and mimic what ever I can find for reference.

Spinosaurus aegyptiacus
By Charles Nye on @ad-0rca-ble
Name: Spinosaurus aegyptiacus
Name Meaning: Egyptian Spine Lizard
First Described: 1915
Described By: Stromer
Classification: Dinosauria, Theropoda, Neotheropoda, Averostra, Tetanurae, Orionides, Megalosauroidea, Megalosauria, Spinosauridae, Spinosaurinae
Spinosaurus is a fairly famous, but mysterious, genus of dinosaur from the Bahariya Formation of Egypt, as well as the Kem Kem beds of Morocco, though other locations may have been home to this genus in Northern Africa. It lived about 112 to 97 million years ago, in the Albian to Cenomanian ages of the Early to Late Cretaceous, and it was possibly the largest known theropod, depending on the metric of “largeness” you’re using. It’s size, however, is not what makes this animal fascinating: rather, it is the only known non-avian dinosaurs to have adapted for a semi-aquatic lifestyle. Much of its traits, according to the most recent research, are convergent with other semi-aquatic animals; leading to many speculative evolution projects on this animal evolving for a fully aquatic lifestyle (much like a whale). It never did, but that does not change the strangeness of this genus on the whole.

It’s size is under some debate, but recent research seems to suggest that it could reach lengths up to 15 meters long, though it would not have been as bulky as Tyrannosaurus, and possibly even lighter than Carcharodontosaurus, though estimates of size and length are still questionable. It had a long, narrow snout, very similar to that of a crocodile, though that similarity is entirely convergent, as the two are nowhere near closely related. It’s skull wasn’t very built for dealing with large land animals; that plus it’s semi aquatic lifestyle indicates that it’s main prey organism was fish. This was probably an instance of extreme niche partitioning, as it lived alongside the large carnivore Carcharodontosaurus, and probably would have yielded most of the land-based prey to it’s Carnosaur neighbor.

It had extremely tall neural spines on the back vertebrae, which is mostly hypothesized to have supported a sail structure; they somewhat increased in size from front to back, unlike animals such as Dimetrodon and Edaphosaurus where it was largest in the middle; in addition, there may have been a dip in the middle; furthermore, though Dimetrodon and Edaphosaurus also may have had sails, the neural spines of Spinosaurus were much more flat, unlike the thin rods seen in those synapsids. It’s sail was also unlike Ouranosaurus, which had even thicker spines. Side note: Spinosaurus and Ouranosaurus were not contemporaneous. Though they’re from similar regions, Ouranosaurus is somewhat older. The sailed animal Spinosaurus lived alongside was actually Rebbachisasurus.

The sail may have actually been a hump, however; the spines being similar to extinct hump-backed mammals like Megacerops and Bison latifrons, rather than the known sails of Dimetrodon and Edaphosaurus, though this is under considerable debate. What the sail or hump could have been used for is also under debate, though I consider it unlikely that it was used for thermoregulation. It may have, rather, been hydrodynamic, like that of a sailfish; helping it to swim more efficiently through the water and counterbalance the movements of its neck and tail while swimming. It also had a very long tail, like that of a thresher shark, which may have allowed it to stun fish by slapping it. The sail would also have made it appear larger to shoals of fish, helping to round up fish to eat. The sail also could have been used in display between members of the species.

The posture of Spinosaurus is a hot topic of debate at the time of me writing this entry, and more fossils are required to determine how it may have stood, however, it is very unlikely that it was quadrupedal, given that it could not pronate it’s hands. It may have crouched, however, like a pangolin. Whether or not it had feather or pre-feather integument is completely, utterly unknown; though phylogenetically it’s possible, it seems unlikely that they would have been helpful in swimming, so debate is still out, and probably will be unless a miraculous fossil of it’s skin is found (so I have provided both feathered and non-feathered reconstructions in this article). It lived alongside many other dinosaurs in both of the main environments it is known from; in the Kem Kem beds it lived alongside such dinosaurs as Sigilmassasaurus, Sauroniops, Rebbachisaurus, Inosaurus, Deltadromeus, and Carcharodontosaurus; in the Bahariya Formation, it lived alongside such dinosaurs as Aegyptosaurus, Paralititan, Bahariasaurus, and Carcharodontosaurus.
