This is what I need to be doing right now.
Repeat after me, kids: your significant other liking multiple genders does nothing to invalidate the fact that they like you best.
The “Coming Out” Experience is a Myth
I have to “come out” on a daily basis. If I’m not dressed explicitly in “men’s’ attire, it’s automatically assumed that I am straight. It’s fucking hard. And annoying. And EXHAUSTING. Straight people, if you are reading this, please quit it with the assumptions. And even queer people, too. Stereotypes aren’t real. A girl could wear baggy jeans, jordans, a white tee & a snapback on a daily basis and like men exclusively, in the same way that a girl in a sundress and heels could be head OVER heels for another girl.
QUIT THE ASSUMPTIONS.
