Well.. I don’t know about cartoon horror. Not horror that is actually scary, anyway. They don’t really make stuff like that for fear of traumatizing children, I guess. Which makes sense, even if it was a cartoon for adults you never know if a kid would innocently start watching, not knowing it’s a grown-up movie, and then they’re scared for life. But I mean, I know of many horror animes, but animes don’t count as cartoons. And there are some computer-animated movies that are somewhat creepy, but again, I wouldn’t be quick to call them horror. For the same reason there’s no true horror cartoons that I can recall. (/he hesitates as he thinks about this, clucking his tongue a few times in a thoughtful manner) Out of animated movies that are sort of spooky but mostly for kids, I thiiiink you’d like… maybe Nightmare Before Christmas or Coraline. I enjoy both of those, and I’m a grown man. (/realizing that his words imply the other isn’t a grown man, he hesitates; while the robot boy is young in terms of how long since he’s been activated, he still has the body and mind of an adult) Not that you’re not grown as well, just.. (/cracking a grin, he finally hands the popsicle to the other, realizing he’d been standing in place awkwardly the whole time) You’re a bit childlike. That’s not meant to be taken as an insult, by the way, I find it.. very sweet and cute. It’s charming on you. Don’t change. (/ruffling the android’s hair with his free hand, he walks towards the DVD rack beside his television and skims through the selection, his gaze running along each film title before he finds what he’s looking for and grins brighter. picking out the Coraline case, he opens it and takes out the disc, pressing a button on the DVD player to make the tray open before he sets it in and closes it once more. then, backing up to the couch to grab the remote, he fiddles with the menu screen until the movie begins to play, finally shifting to sit down once it’s started) Watch this with me, you’ll like it I think. (/the popsicle in his hand has begun melting by this point, and with a soft noise of surprise he starts licking it to clean up the mess, laughing quietly at himself after doing so, before his free arm reaches out again. this time, it finds its way around the other’s shoulders once more and he pulls him close to his side, leaning their heads together while he focuses his gaze on the television, though every so often it flickers to the boy at his side to gauge his reactions to what he’s watching)
Aah... That would make sense. Kids are attracted to cartoons so having a horror aspect to them probably isn't the best thing... Even adults don't know what they might hold so they could unknowingly let the kid watch it and then every night, they wake up to their child having a nightmare. [/he blinks a few times, processing this knowledge.] So, there isn't any horror cartoons... [/he nods, letting this also process before looking at the scientist with a confused expression upon hearing a slight hesitation in his speech; not entirely sure what the hesitation was about until the last part of the sentence, his lips turning into a slight frown in response even while taking the popsicle into his own hands. a conflicted feeling washes over him since he's not supposed to take it as an insult, yet he feels like it should be taken as such. his lips purse together as he's not able to figure out what a good response would be to such a thing. a usual insult laced together with a compliment; this was definitely something that he couldn't comprehend which caused him to force a chuckle. but it made him question himself and how he was built and how his programming was set; was it possible to work against the coding? he doesn't react to the ruffling, too focused in his own thoughts as he mindlessly licks at the popsicle with a tiny smile, realizing that it was as good as he thought it would be. he stares blankly at the scientist's back as he messes with the DVD player, still collecting his thoughts before blinking once he's snapped out of his long thought process to stare at the television when the movie starts to play. he nods a few times at the comment before going back to licking at the frozen treat so it doesn't completely melt on him. even when he's pulled closer, he doesn't take his eyes off the screen nor does his mouth stay away from the popsicle. his eyes intently stare the moving pictures as he tries to focus in on the story, but he becomes distracted easily by his thoughts again. he lowers the popsicle away from his face, pondering if he should interrupt the film just to express his concerns. it shouldn't be a big deal and he knew it, but he couldn't help but be a bit saddened by it. once it got to a quiet spot in the movie, he cleared his throat a bit to finally speak.] ... U-um... Jonghunnie... Am I really that... childlike...? [/his lips form into a prominent frown, but upon that happening he starts laughing rather awkwardly.]
I think in these papers is also a map somewhere. So if you’re good with reading maps, I’ll surely hand you one. Then you’re not dependent on me that much. -she leans against the walls, hiding her yawn behind the folder, rubbing the tear that had gathered under her eye soon after- Geez, I need a cup of coffee soon. I’ll probably pick up one during lunch break and then show you around. This way I can walk a bit and get my lovely dose of caffeine. -a grin is on her lips as she leaves the mirrored space of the elevator, the long corridor stretching ahead of them, rooms to either side with light streaming through the windows on the roof-
There's a map? If that's the case, I can figure everything out. [/he smiles, nodding once.] Oh? Sounds like you could use maybe two cups of coffee. [/chuckles quietly behind the back of his hand. he wanders out of the elevator, looking down the corridor with a content expression playing across his face.] It's really nice up here. But then again, the entire facility is really nice so far. [/he begins to walk down the lighted up path at a slow pace, not in any huge rush, looking at each passing door.]
How am I going to kidnap you when you are bigger than me!
True, true. [/he flashes a quick grin.] That sucks for you, noona~
-smiles happily- Good, so how was your day?
My day was really good! [/he beams.] How was yours?
How am I going to kidnap you when you are bigger than me!
True, true. [/he flashes a quick grin.] That sucks for you, noona~
-glares and pouts- I’ll start bullying you again.
Don't do that! [/juts his lower lip out.] I'm sorryyyyy!
How am I going to kidnap you when you are bigger than me!
True, true. [/he flashes a quick grin.] That sucks for you, noona~
-she chuckles, slowing down till she was walking by his side instead, a knowing grin directed up towards him- IX can be quite fascinating if you look at it for the first time, right? Maybe I can give you a tour in my lunch break. For now I’ll show you to your room. -she reaches forward to press the button before he beats her to it an amused smile on her lips- Why thank you! Uhm~ Not by heart. I can only guess which side it’ll be on and.. -she looks at the papers again, trying to pick out the location that the number of the room belonged to- hmm no, sorry. we’ll see, hm? -stepping into the elevator once it arrives, she pressed the button to the third level, a low hum under her breath-
Mmhm! Which is why I just kinda dropped everything and immediately started looking around. [/he laughs, his eyes folding into crescents as he does so.] Even getting lost helped a bit with familiarizing myself with different locations, but a guided tour would be nice! Only when you're free~ [/nods a few times with a wide smile, looking back at her when he presses the button.] I don't mind which side it's on~ I just really want a good view. That's all~ [/he chuckles more or less to himself as he steps into the elevator right behind her, leaning against one of the walls as they wait for it to reach the third floor. his eyes continue to inspect every where he goes out of just pure habit, wanting to be familiar with every crack or dent in the entire place. it doesn't take long for the elevator to reach its destination, stopping at the third floor. once the door opens, he signals the other to exit first since he can follow behind her.]
Mmm Nothing’s wrong…I—I think. .//A smile came to her soft pink lips once more as she tilted her head to the side.//. Most likely just something wrong with my programing it happens fr—from time to t—time. .//standing up straight, the bot looked around before looking back to the male.//. I’ll just go see Kai Oppa sometime and s—see wha—whats going on
[/he tilts his head a bit, not really buying the other's argument since it was shaky with the stuttering, but he decided to just let it go until she clears up her argument, making it much more valid to him.] I see... But it doesn't hinder your performance, right? [/he blinks a little, not helping his slight concern that is apparent on his facial features.] But... I understand how that is. [/he nods, smiling.] I hope you get things straightened out!
I’m glad t-that you think I am, because it’s kind of difficult to e-explain -he scratched the side of his head; You really d-do ask the most interesting questions. My teachers would be happy i-if they had a student like you -chuckles a little; You’re right, they are like h-humans, but their chakras are still different -nods firmly; If you want, I c-can lend you some books that talk about the whole chakra s-subject -starts making counts with his fingers; I think I have 4 b-books here with me, and they’re very detailed. -widens his eyes in surprise; Thank y-you! But me a t-teacher? -smiles proudly; You know, w-when I was small I wanted to be a teacher, just like my father, so what you tell me now m-makes me happy -chuckles happily; We’re all ready t-to go now! -looks at the robot with a wide smile on his face; Does i-it? I’m getting very hungry all of a s-sudden now -hugs his stomach and starts walking slowly towards a table at the far corner of the cafeteria- Is i-it okay if we sit there? -points at the table;
Do I? I think I just have a habit of questioning everything; of course if I don't know the answer myself~ [/he nods a few times, grinning.] Aah, I guess that would be right... They're still an animal... [/tilts his head.] Oh well! It was worth asking~ [/chuckles softly.] Oh! That'd be nice if you could do that for me! I'd definitely read them! It's really interesting! I'll be sure to read them quickly, too, so you won't miss them too much~ [/smiles widely, quickly nodding his head up and down.] Yes, a teacher! ... Really? Uwah~ What a coincidence~ [/flashes a grin before nodding once again.] Then let's go eat it before it turns cold, yeah? [/he follows behind the scientist, keeping a good hold on the box, making sure that it's not going anywhere before looking over to where the other is pointing.] That's a good spot! [/he skips over to the vacant table, placing the pie box down onto the surface before pulling out a chair and sitting down, looking at the human expectantly.]
Rose was known for welcoming the new workers and robots within IX with some pastries, sometimes late; but she always tried to welcome all the new workers. So today like any other day she walked into the building and up to the front desk along with a pink box filled with pastries. Leaving the said box along with a small note with the receptionist for a 'Mr.Hongki,' the young woman walked out of the building and back to her café, she still had a lot to do before opening up for the day.
The note said;
' Welcome to IX, I'm sorry I couldn't meet you face to face but I have a lot to do before opening up my café for the day. My names Rose Marie I own a small café just down the street from here and I also sale some of my pastries and such at the IX buildings café. I didn't know what kind of pastries you liked so I brought some of the most popular ones from the cafe. Not all of them, but some of them. I hope you like them and hopefully sometime soon we shall meet. But until then enjoy!
~!//Rose Marie//!~ ‘
Wandering around the halls before finally making his way up to the third floor where he was originally set to stay in IX, the blond noticed a box in front of his door. He looked at it curiously before squatting down in front of the pink box. On top of it, it had a small note; automatically reaching for the note first. As soon as he opened it, he started reading it, slowly nodding his head as if the person was there in front of android. His lips form an 'o' at the mention of pastries as his brown orbs gaze back down at the box. Hongki finished up the note, smiling widely to himself as he set it aside to open the pastry box with wide eyes; taking in the entire beauty of these treats. "Uwah...! Thank you...!" He spoke out loud, even knowing that this 'Rose Marie' wasn't around to hear his words of gratitude for this present. The robot stood back up with the box and note in hand before opening his door and quickly shutting it behind him, wanting to eat the pastries in peace.
I was giving you a hug!
That was a hug? I thought someone was gonna kidnap me! [/laughs loudly.]
Hyung, I need to pee /wriggles against your side, tugging on your shirt a bit;
Why are you telling me that?! [/laughs, nudging the other.] Go, go!
-runs over, hugging you from behind-
Uwah! [/he starts flailing his arms a little, even though they're bound to his sides from the hug.] Pretty noona! What are you doinggggggg? [/laughs loudly.]
