“Have you ever felt like there was this one moment that nostalgia gripped and choked your throat to a point the only way to find liberation was returning to your roots. Then you come back, only to find that this was where you had wanted to be all along. If only to pretend to be human just for a little while longer.”
Seoul. The place where her story begun. It had ended in North Korea, just by the boarders of China and let her experience to be reborn as a version of herself that had never felt quite like her. Drowning in self pity as nothing but the shell of herself she wandered the earth in desperate need to find a connection to this place which still held meaning.
Losing all; friends, family, lover, even enemies Jieun Bellatrix Song saw little purpose left in her existence, traveling the world with the sole goal to bring an end to her own meaningless eternal lifespan. Refusing to see that her intellect, all things she had been gifted with could also be a blessing and not just a curse, it took several times of the phoenix to rise from the ashes until the sunshine, head scientist of IX200 found her smile again.
It was the happenings in August 2015 that caused her to return to her hometown with a smile on her lips and her eyes directed to a brighter future.
A group of bandits revoking havoc in France capital Paris and Belle had to figure out which side she wanted to face. Fight for the justice she knew the people deserved or continue her endless balancing act along the line of life and death by living her life on the edge, surrounding herself with constant danger?
She had chosen to side for the good side, having regained her sense of moral and enough humanity to know wrong from right. Only when tied to a chair, beaten and bruised did she realize that this decision had provided to be the more dangerous one. The second crucial experience this task had given her was the knowledge that she could indeed die. Facing a near death experience by being tortured with nearly drowning only to resurface just before she could run out of breath and die, it was bewildering and fearful for her to find out that her fire spirit was incapacitated. Not reviving, only coughing up water drop after water drop it was then she began to fight back, began to realize that there were ways to end her life and that the knowledge she beheld of her abilities had not been completely established.
In turn, her curiosity was once more sparked and let her regain her interest in modern technologies, bringing forth lost hopes and dreams, given up achievements and memories left behind. The hurt of lost and grief - it made her clutch her chest but instead of pitying herself for being a lonesome rider in this cruel and unforgiving world, she felt as alive as ever. She remained human. No matter how far she strayed from being physically different she was human. No matter how much longer her lifespan was, she was still a human. Jieun Bellatrix Song was a human, beholding knowledge that could change the future for the better and beholding the strength and energy to do so.
If only had enough coffee.
A laugh, rich and natural in sound made her express her amusement by herself as heels clicked against the pavement and brought her nearer to the starbucks right ahead. It felt good to be back.
▬ I'm honestly the worst with staying active on this muse but just to be save I'll be putting her on hiatus. I thank those who followed me and I'll try to get to replies eventually but please be patient with me and this girl hah-
"Still always so harsh in your decisions. Sometimes I wonder where you take your never tiring temper from." To hear such words from the one female that used to be temper in its breathing form might be beyond odd and bewildering but she did utter the words past her lips and the worst part? She meant it. Little had remained from the once so temperamental woman that caught his gaze when he tried to convince her of his reasoning with his penetrating gaze. He needn't convince her but she surely felt no dire need to see the female in mention dead. "Why don't you tell me first what she did to receive such a harsh punishment? I'll listen and perhaps, you'll have yourself a helping hand. Or someone to stop you from making a terrible mistake but that shall be left to find out." Motioning her hand for him to speak on, her face remained blanked, expression stoic as she ears hanging on his lips, ready to listen to every word he had to say.
"Sure you didn't." In all honesty, the female couldn't care less what and what not the male across from her did and didn't do. All that she was concerned about was her own safety. "If you're going to use your... skills on me now to get me to shut up, I'd suggest you save yourself the trouble. What benefit would I have from telling?" Yet again a reasoning that sounded very plausible to the young appearing woman. "I don't have any desire for justice, nor do I feel like the fist of justice should be brought down upon you." She had received her ultimate form of justice, the rest didn't matter. The revenge she had so seeked had been fulfilled. Nothing was left for her to get worked up over. If he had dared lay his hands on one of the few friends she had remaining, the whole scene would have been different but he hadn't and therefore, Jieun discarded the matter with a smile shrug. "Whether you did nothing or something is none of my concern and surely none of my business. Not even to mention I can't even bring myself to care."
[to: ebony] this is me satisfying my desire to do something nice for a friend okay?
[to: ebony] It's not a birthday celebration if you don't want it to be. I thought a simple catch up over a cup of coffee might be nice. Don't bring money.
