When people say they want old Robron back I kinda just roll my eyes, like I get it but thatās just not gonna happen and it shouldnāt either. I get wanting better writing for them and their own storylines and longer scenes but thatās where I draw the line at wanting old Robron back- though part of this is all down to how post covid soaps are written anyway. But I like their new dynamic personally and I do like seeing bow as characters theyāve both evolved and changed so their relationship has too. It makes them not stagnant or boring, and stops them being like coira who keep going through the exact same problems because their relationship never evolves or matures. People say their scenes are just them being miserable but thatās not true, theyāve had not many scenes this year but there have been cheery and not so cheery stuff. But their relationship is strong and all their disagreements have been external, unlike many of the other couples. Plus all we see is a slice of these characters lives, and we know that Robron do a lot together 24/7 outside of that. I just feel that itās never gonna be the same before and whilst the show isnāt the best rn expecting two people to be the same as six years ago isnāt reasonable (especially with what theyāve experienced in that time and also outside factors of making the show).
Well said, Anon! I have been trying to say all this myself over the last few weeks. They are actually presented as the most secure and mature couple on the show.
