Florida Girl
Being from Florida and all, born and raised, I've become accustomed to not leaving water bottles in my car because of the chemicals released into the water when the plastic gets too hot. However, now that I'm living in Tennessee, I didn't think it would be a problem...expecially in the winter. So I left one in my car last night. But I didn't remember that it gets cold here...I mean, really cold...sometimes freezing cold. I grabbed my water bottle from my car on my way to work this morning and found a solid chunk of ice in the bottle...and no water. Three hours later I can finally drink my water.
Has anyone else noticed that when words don't exactly fit into the rhythm of the music, the composer just kind of takes a syllable out of the word and sticks an apostrophe there instead? Giving us words like, o'er and e'er. And then we, as normal people, just go, yes, okay, I accept this turning a real word into jibberish nonesense. What is up with that?
