A messy little sketch about some messy little feelings. Within the context of ponies: I feel like, maybe, poor little Spike gets nightmares sometimes, about losing his big sister. The very one who - very much - and very almost practically, raised him by herself. And she feels guilty, even though she always does all she can to keep him out of her world-ending messes. Some things Twilight just cannot protect him from.

I will put every comma in the universe in this post. I cannot be stopped.

I left the sketch for a week and then forgot...uh...everything

I swear to god, this was earnestly meant to be lightheartedly funny at first, based on my ponies game screenshot of DJ reading. I wanted to put Octavia in the corner somewhere. She was meant to be peeking at the page, entirely befundled by catching DJ reading leisurely in their living room instead of mixing and writing new tracks or napping. I feel like she's a napper. She'd nap. But that's all she usually does. Sometimes she eats, though.

And then I entered a Head Space, and...ended up with this. Which is now accidentally topical for the season.
