Motorcitizens, we need to talk...

It is with great sadness that I must announce that DisneyXD will not be renewing Motorcity for a second season.

This has been such an amazing and rewarding project for all of us here at Titmouse work on, thanks in no small part to all of you. I can’t begin to tell you how much having such awesome fans has ment to us.

I’m not really sure what else to say, so I’m just going to include the email that Chris P. sent out to the studio this mornin:

Unfortunately I had a feeling this would happen and yes, I'm incredibly disappointed with Disney XD's decision, but Chris P's right on the money. You guys have pushed countless boundaries in the current TV animation field and you all should be incredibly proud. Even in the wake of an unfortunate cancellation, I'm incredibly hopeful that the animation industry can learn a thing or two from all your hard work on Motorcity. A visually beautiful show packed with love, care, and devotion (paired with a memorable fanbase) won't go down in history as a complete flop.

I'm starting to sound like Chris P's parrot, haha, but that being said, I'm very confident Titmouse is capable of even greater projects. What they are yet, I'm not sure, but I'm very excited to see what the future holds.

Until then, I'm very excited to watch the rest of the series. IT'S GOING TO BE AMAZING, NO DOUBT >8D

Again, my assignment was to illustrate the short story "A Box to Hide in". I was listening to Extreme Ways on repeat for most of the sketch/color process, so I don't know if that affected the mood of the piece. I dunno, creative process poop and all that.

Broken record, I know, but this is unacceptable and grossly draconian behavior from a position of power. Finni and Missy, two total sweethearts who simply followed the written rules verbatim, didn't deserve this treatment at all.

I'll probably never know how Otakon got a bunch of mentally 5 year-old bullies to run their AA staff. One thing's for certain, if they don't want their prepubescent balls torn off by AA participants, they better relearn their own rules and get an attitude adjustment fast. >:[
