Heart of Steel-The Steel of the Blade || Jasmine & Proton
Troubled? Oh, Proton was indeed “troubled”. He never had this much difficulty trying to keep calm and not blow his cover. She was not the average Gym Leader…she was something more.
“Y-Yeah! I’m fine!” Proton scratched the back of his head, making a laugh that came out as more of a bird call.
Jasmine arched a brow, and then giggled “Okay!”
Maybe Proton was wrong. He looked over to the ocean, and tried to calm sown. “So, uh, just what are you doing here at such a early time?”

Jasmine had decided to try and play it off even with this slight suspicion. After all she wouldn't be a very good host if she doesn't at least try to be polite. If he were to try something her pokemon would be quick to take care of any issue. "Well, I was actually trying to enjoy the Ocean. It's really beautiful at this time of day, as the sun tries to climb to the sky and when it sets."
Her Skarmory grunts a bit as it finally calmed down, though it eyes never left the other. Jasmine turns her back toward him to look out into the sunset, then back at him. "Now then, why are you here at such an early hour? If I may ask." It seemed like an easy to answer question and she was simply curious as to why her company was also up so early.
"Wh-why am I up at such an early hour?" Proton stuttered. "Well, uh, I was supposed to meet friend here." He shot a fake smile towards the girl.
"Well, that seems nice." She smiled back.
"Yep, nice."

The silence was broken thanks to Proton's PokeGear. It rang a tune, and he quickly pulled it out and checked it. Proton cursed, and looked around.
"I'm here. Get rid of the girl and we can make the deal."The message read.
That was the problem. How was he going to get rid of her? Perhaps he can threaten her, or maybe he could give her something in return if she left, a gift maybe. Or...
"Hey." Proton slowly said. "Would you possibly want to meet up later? Possibly at a restuarant or something?
