Yeah, it does. All it means out here is the Friday after the holiday, when the best pre-Christmas sales are offered in virtually every store. They open everything at ungodly early hours and there's a massive mob of bargain-starved consumers everywhere.

Your Grandma loves it very much. If bargain hunting were the same as real hunting, I'd be Queen of the Amazons.

So, plans, plans, plans for the holidays...? I got 'em.

I intend on spending Thanksgiving with mia famiglia. I think this is going to be a first for me. I'll eat a nice meal with both my son and grandson at the same time (assuming no one fucking canceled on me) and, if I play my cards right, drag one of them along with me to Celadon City's department store to indulge in my favorite holiday out of the whole damned year: Black Friday.Somebody needs to carry my bags, right? If they bail on me, I'm making my Machamp do it.

So, aside from that, I'm going ahead and making plans for Christmas, too. Gio and Silver are getting something from me this year. So are my old pals (y'know who you are) and my favorite capo (you know who YOU are, too). While it would be cool to ring in the new year with family, I'm thinking I want to spend this Christmas with my best friend, provided Miya doesn't back out on me.

For Thanksgiving, I'm heading to Kanto to visit my son. I know. A real shocker, right? I ain't got too much planned for Christmas, though. It is? Arceus, kid, I'm sorry. I've been bogged to the brim with holiday plans. It's going to be the first time in years I actually wanted to have Thanksgiving with my bratty son, so that's been on the forefront of my mind--almost. I lie. Black Friday in Celadon City is what I'm really looking forward to.

Striaton is a very clean, very safe, and very family-friendly city. I don't think you'll run into any troublemakers out there. If you do, it'll be small stuff like purse-snatchers, but I think the cops are well on top of things. You'll have a fun time.

Thanksgiving sounds great. I'd invite you out here, if you're doing that Grand Champion Tournament thing, but I'm getting a little homesick for Kanto.
