Was it the way you would plague his mind? Wherever he goes, something would remind him of you. He only ever saw you, and only you.
But, Gojo Satoru was too full of himself.
He doesn’t love. Or that’s what he told himself.
So why did his heart skip a beat everytime he saw you?
Why did it feel like butterflies were fluttering across his stomach when your cheeks flushed crimson, whenever he tucked a piece of your hair between your ears?
These feelings were normal right?
It’s always been this way. He’s always felt this way.
He’s always felt this way because you two were childhood friends. Childhood friends who promised to stay by eachothers’ sides till their last breaths.
So why did you leave him?
Was he not worth your guys’ promise?
Was he not worth your time?
Or was it because he was too oblivious to the longing stares you would give him?
He didn’t deserve you. He wasn’t worth your love.
You’re the unreachable star, not him.
Why were you wasting your precious heart on him? He wasn’t worth anything.
Maybe you finally realized that. That’s why you left.
You left because he was too ignorant to acknowledge the love you have given him.
All these years, you have loved him and only him.
It’s fine though. Isn’t it Satoru?
Now she can find someone who actually deserves her love. After all these years, she wouldn’t have to waste her time on you any longer.
But, why was it hurting this much?
Why are the images in his head of you with someone else a constant stab to his heart?
Like what his mother had said once,

And not a single word from Satoru.
But, weren’t you the one who told him to cut all ties with you?
Yes, but, Satoru will always have a special place in my heart.
And I’ll always love him…
“Satoru, you need to eat,” a soft voice called out.
He felt her slender fingers glide across his back.
“Baby, what’s gotten you so down,”
“CAN YOU JUST SHUT YOUR DAMN MOUTH FOR ONE SECOND?”
“Don’t fucking raise your voice at me!”
“What is going on? Satoru, you have to talk to me for me to help you,”
“We need to break up,” Satoru felt like his heart was going to beat out of his chest. “I can’t be with you because I keep wishing she was you,”
“I knew it. I fucking knew it,”
Scoff. “You know she’s getting married, right?”
“Pathetic.” She threw the piece of card note to Satoru’s sunken face.
He quickly reached out to unraveled the piece of paper.
