summary: it's snowing outside, and the reader seizes the chance to spend time with edgeworth.
pairing: Miles Edgeworth x gn reader
warnings: none, edgeworth is a little shit at the start but not that bad
word Count: 369w
notes: yeehaw!! i love edgeworth so much. reader is very much channelling the inner gumshoe in this, if you can tell, but we love that
“Hey, Mr. Edgeworth?”
Miles held up a hand and sipped his coffee. Seeing you shift from foot to foot, he sighed and set down his mug. “Is there something you require, Y/N?”
You wiggled nervously. “It’s snowing pretty hard outside, sir.”
He would’ve rolled his eyes if he didn’t think you actually had something to tell him. “Yes. If you notice, my curtains are open. The snow is rather apparent.” You nodded when he motioned at the window. The snow was piling up on the windowsill, with a solid six inches already on the ground.
“Right. Uh, well... I was wondering, do you have any gloves?”
Miles huffed a little. “Y/N, if you wish to play in the snow like a child, you may borrow my gloves and do so during lunch break. Currently, you are needed to check the reliability of witness accounts... which is your job."
You didn’t flinch, but you did blink in response. “Oh... no, sir, I have my own gloves. I wanted to make sure that your hands would be ok before I asked you to enjoy the snow with me.”
Now it was Miles’s turn to blink. He examines your face before coughing quietly into his hand (it was a reflexive move and he instantly made a note to wash his hands.) “I see.”
“...so, do you have gloves, sir?”
“I believe that I have a lunch meeting that runs past your lunch break, Y/N.” Your face fell a little, and you nodded again. Miles averted his eyes. “However, if you have time at the end of the day... I seem to be free at five.”
From his peripheral vision, he watched your eyes light up. You were bouncing on the balls of your feet now. “Sure thing, Mr. Edgeworth! I’ll see you then- do you like marshmallows in your hot chocolate?”
If you found the smallest marshmallows available so that he could have just the right amount, you wouldn’t tell anybody that Miles turned bright red at the sight.
And if he tugged up the front of your scarf to protect the tip of your nose, he would never mention the way your smile went straight into his heart.
summary: you’re somewhat forgetful, but franny is always there.
pairing: Franziska von Karma x male reader
warnings: none, franny is uncharacteristically sweet
word Count: 829w
notes: yeehaw!! this is one of the oldest things i’d ever written for ace attorney, back when i was cis and thought i was gay,,, and i AM gay but in the opposite direction. however i think my crush on franziska has still carried throughout my whole life so i’m not terribly bothered posting this or taking future requests for her. she’s a delight <3
→ Franziska von Karma forgets nothing. Not when it came to court, and most certainly not when it came to you. Your favourites, things you’ve mentioned in passing. It engraves itself in her mind when you’re the one saying it.
→ You were much the opposite. As hard as you tried, committing something small to memory was insanely difficult. Of course you remembered the important things- one of the only things you COULD consistently remember was things about people’s pasts. You couldn’t help it. You were drawn to people who needed help, knowingly or otherwise. It only made sense you’d fall for Franziska.
