Why is no one talking about what happened in São Paulo yesterday?

The sky turned completely black around three in the afternoon partly because of smoke coming from the Amazon rainforest, WHICH IS 2300 KILOMETERS AWAY FROM THE CITY, where the government has greatly increased the amount of land being burned for profit. People are getting sick, animals are dying, native territory is being lost to the flames.

This is what the sky looked like in my city yesterday, in the early afternoon.

It got so dark so fast the city had to turn on the lamp posts and night lighting.

Please talk about this. Reblog this post, non-brazilians especially.

very interesting how billionaires and millionaires where the first ones to give money to a church in france but my country (which is the home of the biggest rain forest in the world and should be concerning everyone) is burning to the ground and i don't see a penny or even a statement about it

Today skies went black all over Brazil.

Why?

Because our forest is dying.

It has been 2 weeks since a massive fire started in Rondonia, one of the home states of Amazonia, the biggest tropical forest in the world.

Our fascist president, Jair Bolsonaro, doesnt give a shit about it. He's killing our natural patrimony. He's killing our animals. He's killing our trees. He's killing our forest. He's killing OUR PEOPLE.

Please spread this. We need HELP.

4. Hogwarts house: AGHH--- i honestly don’t know!! all my life i had been in slytherin (since like i was 7 yo) but now i feel i belong to ravenclaw and it’s really bothering me

20. Random fact: i started doing yoga 3 days ago keep fingers crossed. and i really like it which is surprising- i don’t get along with physical activities usually... and oh- i'm in math/geographic class in my high school. And i'm 18 yo.

21. Aesthetic: i can’t define it tbh i have so many things i find aesthetic

but i bought a new tea today and it’s my favorite classic earl grey with a taste of vanilla and it has a beutiful blue flowers in it ♡ it contrasts with the blackness of the tea leaves so beautifully and when i drank it looking through a window at the moody day outside i really thought- that’s what i call my aesthetic.
