In 1867 and 1871 he was a presidential candidate, but was defeated both times by Benito Juarez. On 8 November 1871 the Revolution of Noria to overthrow Juarez.
Between 1884-1911 Porfirio Diaz ruled dictatorially becoming successively reelected. Most of the Mexican people suffered marginalization and poverty.
Reelected in 1910 after imprisoning opposition candidate Francisco Madero, who after prison called for national rebellion was followed by many warlords antireeleccionistas and in that way Mexican Revolution began.

These are some of all the Reform Laws that took place between the years 1855 and 1863.
Benito Juarez was born in Oaxaca in 1806. His parents were natives Marcelino Juarez and Brigida Garcia. They died when Benito was 3 years old. Then he was raised by his grandparents and worked as a shepherd until age 12. It was when he left for the city of Oaxaca. Here he entered the Seminary of Santa Cruz de Oaxaca, but soon trasaldó the Institute of Arts and Sciences to study law. When he graduated 1834, worked defending indigenous causes. In parallel, he entered politics and held important public positions in Oaxaca.
In 1847, was elected and moved to Mexico City where he strengthened his relations with the Liberals. In 1853, he was expelled by President López de Santa Anna, but returned in 1855 thanks to President John N. Alvarez who appointed him Minister of Justice and Instruction. From this position cut privileges of the clergy and the army.
In 1858, he became President of Mexico and the following year enacted the "Law on Nationalization of church property." Conservative opponents he defeated in 1860 with help from the United States. In 1862, the French invaded Mexico and imposed as Emperor Maximilian of Hapsburg. Benito Juarez led the resistance. His troops defeated the usurper and was shot in 1867. The same year he was elected as President.
In this new stage Benito Juarez implemented free education and built roads throughout the country. In 1871, he ran again for the presidency and was the winner. Then Porfirio Díaz rebelled charges of election fraud, but was defeated in 1872. But Benito Juarez, 66, was already suffering from heart and respiratory problems. On the night of July 18, 1872 angina killed him. The Mexican people buried with honors and today he is considered the largest civil hero of history.
Venustiano Carranza Garza was born in Coahuila, on January 14, 1860. Her parents were Jesus Carranza and Maria de Jesus Garza. Studied in Saltillo and Mexico DF In the 1890s came to occupy positions of mayor and governor of Coahuila Cuatrociénagas. In the early twentieth century was a deputy and senator from Coahuila.
At the outbreak of the Mexican Revolution supported Francisco I. Madero, who appointed him Minister of War and Navy. In 1913 and Madero was assassinated Carranza launched the Plan of Guadalupe, rebelling against the tyrant Victoriano Huerta. He raised the flags of the legal order, proclaimed First Chief of the Constitutionalist Army and defend the Constitution of 1857.
In 1914, Venustiano Carranza entered Mexico City, but being ignored by the Convention of Aguascalientes set up his government in Veracruz. He managed to return in 1916 thanks to the victories of General Alvaro Obregon on Pancho Villa and Emiliano Zapata. In 1917, he issued the famous Constitution of Querétaro where important reforms were established as the 8-hour workday, land reform and the nationalization of oil.
In 1919, Carranza called elections and supporting the candidacy of civil Ignacio Bonillas. When General Alvaro Obregón revolted moved his government to Veracruz, but on the way he was ambushed and shot to death by men of General Rodolfo Herrera Obregon. This occurred in Tlaxcalantongo (Puebla) on May 21, 1920.

De pie frente a la Misión está una estatua de su fundador, Fray García de San Francisco. Nacido en la Vieja Castilla, España, vino al Nuevo Mundo en 1629 y estableció la Misión de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe (1659) entre los indios Mansos de El Paso del Norte, un paso estratégico de El Camino Real.
La escultura de bronce del frente de la Misión es una pequeña réplica de la que está en el centro de El Paso. Representa a Fray García construyendo su Misión. En su mano derecha sostiene un grabado de los indios Manso, el nombre de la Misión y el año de su fundación. A sus pies racimos de uvas en una canasta, que representan la vinicultura y la agricultura, las cuales introdujo en el área.
El 8 de Diciembre de 1659, Fray García de San Francisco, acompañado de Fray Juan de Salazar y diez familias de indios Cristianos, construyeron un oratorio provisional de ramas y barro, y un monasterio con raíces y paja. El 5 de 1662, la nueva Iglesia de La Misión de Guadalupe fue inaugurada. Cien nativos fueron bautizados ese día.
Fray García después de 12 años en El Paso, regreso a su ministerio entre los indios Piro de la Misión de Senecú, cerca del actual Socorro, Nuevo México hasta su muerte el 22 de Enero de 1673.
La Misión de Guadalupe es la madre de las misiones de el Valle de El Paso. En el paso de largo viaje de El Camino Real era un importante alto para comer y descansar. Durante 1680 la rebelión de Pueblo, Nuevo México, más de 2500 españoles se refugiaron aquí, y recibieron de los indios comida y refugio. Hasta 1692, Paso del Norte fue el punto más alejado al norte de la España colonial del Nuevo Mundo. Construida sólidamente de adobe, el espesor de sus paredes puede apreciarse en la puerta principal o en sus puertas laterales. Estas puertas con un simple pórtico y ventanas coloniales Españolas conocidas como "Ojo de Buey", han sido recientemente restauradas siguiendo sus patrones originales. El cielo muestra un trabajo artístico de magnífica calidad. Los misioneros que vinieron de la península Ibérica trajeron consigo la influencia Arábiga que se puede ver en sus edificios e iglesias. El elemento indígena de la Misión de Guadalupe puede verse en su decoración rectangular, el trenzado, las escaleras circulares, los perfiles dentados y las serpientes tallados entre las vigas de madera del cielo, las puertas de la sacristía, candelabros y los lados de la capilla. Al centro, la iglesia tiene un altar de piedra instalado durante la última restauración (1968-71). Bajo el altar descansan los restos de los primeros pobladores. El piso es de loza. El coro, detrás de la iglesia, está hecho de madera y el soporte son dos elegantes columnas de madera coronadas majestuosamente. La puerta de entrada a el coro permanece sellada por protección pero puede admirarse el trabajo en las puertas, porque son las originales de la Misión. En la cabeza del altar está un panel con la imagen de la Virgen de Guadalupe en un nicho finamente tallado de madera y vidrio. El edificio completo es del siglo XVII del Barroco Mexicano con motivos indígenas.
