i honestly dont like how i will use a gender neutral term and people get all weird and suspicious about it ??

i mention a "partner" and people are like "who is this partner?? are you like in a relationship or something?? huh????"

but if i know for a fact if i said boyfriend or girlfriend then the responses would be so short and simple and it probably would have gone undetected

and this goes even for gender neutral pronouns. some people just go insane if you refer to someone by only gender neutral pronouns </3
