“Why is Percy your favourite Weasley?” you'll never see him catcalling girls or pick on younger students. Ron's misconception about Percy doesn't piss me off because obviously that adds depth but it's just kind of sad here, you know? Because Percy does care about his siblings. Ron the most imo, because he had no hesitation into jumping in the cold ass black lake for Ron. I don't think he'd do that for any other sibling. And holy shit he didn't have a reason to, Fleur was worried but she was shouting on the riverbank. But no, Percy, who's a judge and can't show favouritism (and on normal occasions will not) and KNOWS that his brother would be safe cause he helped organise this whole thing, jumps into the lake and grabs a hold of his brother.

He's a really caring person and his strong sense of truth (atleast what he thought was) made him make a bad decision. He said some awful things but in the end he did apologise and owned up to his mistakes, so, the Percy hate makes no sense to me.
