A belated blog for the last days of March and the first days of April. Starting out with a pic of a cute Korilakkuma dakimakura. I was 50/50 on keeping this or selling it, but someone bought it for an ok price so I decided to let it go, but I'm going to memorialize it here.
I also got this lovely blouse from Japan. My husband likes it on me, but everyone else seems to think its kinda granny, so maybe I will end up selling it too...
Here are some touhou chara keychains I got for my husband. Almost all of them came with cool mini art as a backdrop. I kept the Suika one for myself.
The same day I ended up selling a bunch of these cuties... I love them all so wanted to memorialize these too. Cute omiyage.
I also spotted this bottle waiting to be recycled found it's way into my husbands shoe, instead of our recycling bag...
Yet again this blogpost seems totally consuuumerish but I suppose that's one of my hobbies as a lifetime otaku...anyways, here are some cute plushies I saw at the supermarket. I really love that bear and dog specifically, they're somehome a cuter spin on a super generic plush idea..its probs the fluff, soft colors and huge eyes...If they were a bit cheaper I would've nabbed them.
My husband ended up getting me some lego flowers and made them for me. I displayed them in this cute glass my sister got me from the USA.
I also ended up getting this derpy (but official) Rilakkuma plush, and it really looks just like my husband. Next blog post will be a throwback from even longer ago, so look forward to that! またね！
Now for the third week of March 2026. We were still in Finland. We went thrift in Kangasala, and it was mostly underwhelming.
This was where we got the best haul of the day, and iirc the only place we made any purchases. The Red Cross charity shop.
This is a thrift store I've never been to before. I got the feeling this could have good stuff in general but there just wasn't exactly anything I was looking for this time. I'll give it another shot though.
The business next door had a cute logo.
Some of the things we found inside - a fireplace door and a Y2K (?) Magnifying glass.
Pirkan Kirpputorikeskus (Eng. Pirkkas Thriftstore Center) used to be one of my favorite thrift shops but I didn't visit for a long while now bc I didn't have a car and it's pretty far away without one, and I've also been super busy. When we went, it had moved and the charity shop next to it had closed down...sad. It moved right next door but the new location feels underwhelming and none of the booths were great this time. Saw some silly things though, pictured.
It's in a convenient location though right next to a Rusta and Prisma. I was having some of my flare ups (suspected MCAS, getting meds for it soon tho yay) so we went to walk around Rusta until my antihistamines and pain meds kicked in then we went to Prisma, where I spotted a giant Freya! Seems lots of companies rent these out from Epoch. They never wanna sell them to me when they go bankrupt tho...sighhh
Then we got some food for my husband from this 'working man' resturant. He actually gave us the wrong order for one of the boxes, but since I bought these via ResQ, which has super discounted foods, I just paid for the other dish bc I couldn't stand the idea they would throw it in the trash lol.
We spotted these masked seats whilst sending out some packages, I've seen them pretty often but they always make me chuckle.
We went to IKEA for dinner a day or so later and saw this cool book wall. Most the books seemed to be in Swedish, with some in German and Finnish.
We saw this generic (?) isekai looking anime poster in the gamer room display.
And I treated my husband to an Ikea feast.
We saw the aliens are going to be discontinued soon so we got Gregito a sibling, then we ended up dressing them up alongside the mini aliens, and my Husband said he gets why girls loved playing with dress-up dolls as kids.
Moving on, I took a picture of the 404 page we saw on the Migri (Finnish immigration) website. 2nd picture is the Shimeji mushrooms we saw near our place!
The next day we went to the store, and I spotted this cool cap that I ended up getting later on. I also saw this cute shirt, but I thought I'd wait til it's on discount, but alas I'm not in the country to go buy it.
Me and my husband tried a bunch of these new fancy ice teas and mixed drinks in the store. He really liked the Cola orange. I thought the rest were meh, not as good as the USA's twisted tea.
We bought a bunch of -60% groceries too, and I spotted these really strange looking lights...
There was also a photography competitions winners (or participants?) pictures being displayed in the middle of the mall. I took pictures of some of the nicer (imo) ones.
Later that night I stepped into the kitchen and saw my husband had left this here waiting for me...
He then tried on my Kigurumi and gave off Oli Sykes.
I saw he put his Missal right by the Mejiro McQueen poster board and found it to be funny looking.
I sold these cuties (Used my ironing board and a prep station) but wanted to document them here.
and I gave this guy to my buddy Slic.
We went to mass during palm Sunday, and I waited inside as they blessed the palm leaves.
Here it was (alongside some of thrifts from the first thrift store mentioned).
Here we were on the way back. Later we went to the one mall nearby to get groceries...
I saw this cutie for 10€, I wanted to buy him later on. My husband knew this so tried to get him for me, but couldn't find him...I hope when I'm back in Finland I can find him somewhere.
I saw K-beauty in the normo grocery store now too, it really is taking over.

Hello! Time to post again...Now for March week 2-3. First picture of the two weeks was this...
The local store got these grocery delivery robots! This post is going to be very photodump-y again, because it's been a while since I took these pics.
Me and my husband saw this cute chick at Flying Tiger & these cool pieces at the thrift shop in the same mall.
The green bird matches this brown bird I got earlier from the same thrift store, but I left him for someone else's pleasure.
I did however get this adorable vintage deer for myself
I saw this shirt at CROPP. I think more dudes in da nile would wear this than women tbh.
I also spotted this popular boxed Sangria brand with random Japanese on it （お酒）...It's not even imported from Japan...very strange.
We also saw this weird AI Sketchers ad that reminds me of some famous suggestive meme image (iykyk)... it's uncanny and creepy...
Now onto a better use of AI...Here are some ChatGPT edits of my Oupa... He was impressed.
Here is a pic of my Fridge setup, but it's all taken down by now and put in storage (alongside the older setup) because we are leaving to the USA for a few months soon.
Here are some cuties we sold in March...miss them already.
We went to the area I used to live as a student yet again, and we went to the stores mentioned earlier. The top two images are of the gift mentioned that I bought for my Oupa, who loves nougat, and thought he should give Halawa a try. Then the middle two pics are some of the items we purchases for ourselves in the asian market, and the bottom two are the MENA market's small ramen selection...but they had better prices than the asian market.
We went to get something from the store pretty late at night *I forget what now) and then we saw there was a great deal on candy there (7,99€/kilo) so we ended up spending like 2 hours just getting together goodie bags for my Family in SA and for my mom's friend who she was meeting up for a birthday lunch before leaving back to SA. (She had to fly back to Finland from overseas to fly back home so she spent a day here before leaving.)
I got these penguins for myself...I want to figure out how to cover them in reisen or something so I can preserve them...sooo cute.
I also saw some Chinese monster...and my beloved ice tea monster... in the worst flavor of the bunch, for an insane price (like 7€)... I cant wait to chug them again in the USA.
We saw these on our way out, which explained the great candy discount...
The next day I found this guy was left unpacked from my husbands USA bag...I thought he accidentally left him in the states.
