I will reblog this every time.
Literally this.
Getting dirty, asking questions, being unapologetically enthusiastic about things, going overboard on projects. These are a few of my favorite things.
This is so heartbreaking, but so true.

What kind of a princess are you?
Ariel for mermay and Moana to keep her company
[Image Description: A traditional image of Ariel and Moana. They are sitting on a rock in the ocean. Ariel is a mermaid, her eyes are closed and she’s turned her head so Moana can put a yellow flower in her hair. Moana’s hair is up in a ponytail with a red flower in it.]

me watching monsters inc as a kid: how did it take so long for anyone to figure out that human child laughter not only produced energy like screams, but was more effective, and that children aren’t actually dangerous at all?
me watching monsters inc now: monsters incorporated, a multi-billion dollar corporate giant, stood to make extra profits off a scream shortage because low supply with high demand makes it possible to charge a fortune for a necessary commodity and everyone has no choice but to pay the high prices because they can’t go without electricity. Therefore Monsters Inc, as well as any other major powers that may have existed at the start of the era of using scream energy, fabricated the idea that only screams could generate sustainable energy sources in order to create artificial scarcity, because laugh energy was far easier to obtain and far more efficient, and therefore stood to lower the value of energy due to surplus. They also fabricated the idea that human children were toxic, in order to a) make other monsters too afraid to go near them to do research and possibly discover the secret of laugh energy, and b) to make monsters so afraid of going near them that there is a shortage of scarers, making it harder for rival companies to rise up and create competition. Even in the monster world, capitalism is based on lies, greed and cruelty, and even monster companies have no qualms about using and abusing children to maximize profits.

BOY HOWDY last night’s episode, am I right?
this scene had such nice imagery
“I’m so sorry.
I’m so sorry.
It wasn’t you.
It’s not your fault.”
I’m not an animator by any means, but I wanted to animate this moment.
My best friend and I did Tal’dorei inspired cosplays of The Knowing Mistress and the Matron of Ravens at a con this weekend So fun to chat with critters!
Ioun, The Knowing Mistress Thank you Matthew Mercer. Thank you.
“You are the teller of tales.”
Critical Role never ceases to amaze and inspire. Ioun’s challenge to Scanlan was so entertaining to watch and I was honestly surprised when Ioun chose Scanlan specifically and I was so happy. I haven’t done any fanart in a while but this episode really inspired me to draw something.
okay but since scanlan and pike virtually have no parents to attend the wedding, imagine two peculiar people in the first seats on either side of the isle.
One, a woman, slightly taller than everyone else in the room, with dark bronze skin, and charcoal eyes, and a smile that could warm your heart to a heat that could kill you, but you think she wouldn’t dare. With flowing golden orange hair that seems to always have caught the breeze just the right way, even indoors. She wears a white hat and a yellow summer dress that reflects the light drifting into her church. A single pearl rests on a ring of her right Hand. If you ask, she’ll say someone very close to both herself and the bride lent it to her for just this occasion. If anyone were paying attention to it (no one is, they have their eyes on the lovely couple), the pearl shines brightest the moment Pike dips Scanlan for a kiss.
The other woman, remarkably older, with tanned brown skin that’s faded in her years, but is complimented by the shades of lilac, purple, and silver in her flowing layered dress. Her eyes seem cloudy, but if you look at them in just the right moment, they’re silver and shining. Her braid is long enough to coil around her neck thrice if she chose to. Oddly enough, she carries with her a book. This tome is not nearly as old as she, but it has seen the years. You can’t read the bindings, but it’s covered in juniper berries and musical notes in a cheerful pattern that almost look like they’re moving out of the side of your eye. During Scanlan’s vows, he mentions family he’s lost and family he’s found, a love he’s found in Pike, and the book seems to hum with a vibrant energy.
These two women speak very little, but smile in every second of the ceremony. They seem to stand out, and only Vox Machina seems to recognize them.
