Hey y'all, I'm very sorry to do this but effective immediately, my fic Red Line is going on hiatus.

The reactions to this fic have been so wonderful, and I want to thank all of you for the enthusiasm you have expressed for this crossover fic and my writing in general.

I've been re-reading some of my old works and the utter delight that shines through each word is so clear. I don't think I've felt that delight in a long time. Now that I'm known as a Writer who Writes things and (apparently???) Writes very well, I'm no longer only writing for the love of the game.

Please understand that I adore my audience. The overwhelmingly positive feedback for my writing has completely changed my life. I'm so grateful for the patience between long updates (like how it's almost been a year since I updated Spider's Web With Strings Attached... sorry.....). I think the problem is that I put an immense amount of pressure on myself. The pressure of knowing that people will actually read my work, and expect it to be up to the high caliber I've established has thoroughly stressed me out. It's very much a Me problem, and it's no one else's fault.

Red Line will return. I don't exactly know when, but I promise that I'm not giving up on it. There are other writing projects I intend to finish as well, such as Spider's Web. However, for the moment, I need to take this self imposed pressure off of myself. I need to remind myself what it's like to have fun writing.

I'll probably be doing some ask games, writing prompts, and exercises to help me get back into a healthy, joyful writing mindset.

I feel awful to have to temporarily pause this fic, but I believe that my writing is better and more enjoyable for all when I'm having fun. Thank you for your attention to this matter, and thank you all so so so much for your patience.
