Rola Chang, the official artist behind the covers of The Rise of Kyoshi and The Shadow of Kyoshi, confirmed that Rangi’s canon appearance was based on my fan design, and this is honestly one of the coolest things ever!

She also provided some interesting information regarding additional character illustrations:

- She did 6 extra illustrations for this novel, but doesn’t know if all of them will be featured in B&N exclusive edition since she has not received a copy yet

- She was able to design a male character from scratch, but isn’t able to disclose who he is until the book is released
