she didn’t say anything. she just guested for him to go on and say what he had to say. she also didn’t do anything when he took her hand into his just a simple touch sent chills down her back. a touch and a feeling she missed way too much then she would like to admit to herself. they walked into the music sound muffle in a room that was vacant from any visitors. “i hear you and you’re right i do need my space.” she said softly looking up at him. “i’m just overwhelmed and i need to think about things okay. all this.. the parkers, the pembroke you guys it’s a whole new world to me and i just need to wrap my head around things.” she told roman. “i do miss you too and my love for you have went no where i’m just hurting and i need time.” she sighed. 

thankfully he was able to pull her into a quiet room without her putting up a fight or without her resisting to go. it was easy, and he was glad that it was. once he finished pouring out his feelings about the situation and what he was doing, he waited to see what she had to say. he was respectful and would respect the space that she needed as he nodded his head letting her know that she understands.”okay i’ll respect that. i understand that it’s a lot to take in..” he spoke softly before running his hand through his hair. “so i’m just gonna go then.. uhm just reach out to me when you’re ready to talk about anything, or any questions about.. you know this..” he said gesturing to everyone outside by the pool. with that, he kisses her cheek before nodding his head and headed out of where they were chatting.

she never knew she surrounded herself with criminals and no it was not a judgey approach she was thinking about. she knew this people and she loved these people. she loved him. it was the keeping everything from xo that she hated. the lying she hated. or in his case. holding back the truth. she came to this party because of of jorydan and avery they say have fun tonight and let the drama for tonight go and maybe they were right she was going to try and have some fun tonight. on her way to the bar she was stopped by a voice. a voice that made her voice hitched and her eyes fluttered. she stood still for a minute. xo inhaled deeply and letting all that air go right before she turned around. “i don’t know if i want to talk roman”

of course roman understood if she didn’t want to talk, but at the same time, he couldn’t handle this distance from her any longer. it bothered him so much that he just wanted to get off what he wanted to say off his chest. he stood there and waited as he noticed how stiff she got until she finally turned around. “then let me talk and you can just listen please?” he said softly as he stood there and took her hand to pull her aside to a more private area for them to talk. “i messed up okay, i know that, but believe me, i wanted to tell you. i did. i just didn’t know how to bring up the subject. i didn’t know how you would react. i was afraid that once you found out you wouldn’t want to be with me anymore.” he sighed softly and shook his head, “but, i love you, okay, i don’t want to lose you, you mean so much to me, but i understand that you need your space, and that you want nothing to do with me or my family, but just know that i’ll never stop loving you. regardless if you don’t want us to be us anymore or not.”

before leaving the party, he figured why not take this opportunity and talk to xo. he bit on his lip as he made his way through the party until he saw xo. taking a deep breath he approaches her, treading lightly. “hey..c-can we talk?”

“oh yeah, you and xo damn bro. good luck with that i guess.” he said with a shrug. “but since you are here just have fun i guess no point of wasting a good party.”

“think i might dip early, not really in the mood to be here and i don’t want to bring everyone else’s moods down.”

jane walked around her backyard, watching as everyone started showing up. her eyes landed on roman who was sitting by his lonesome. “and why roman, are you sitting here all alone?”

a soft chuckle leaves his lips as he looks up at jane. “i mean i really don’t want to be here, but my siblings and a few of your siblings made me come out.”

“this is a party my dude. why are you looking so down for? go have fun, go for a dip something.”

“not really in the partying mood to be honest.” he added before glancing over at at xo who was talking to her friends and his siblings.

as much as he didn’t want go, roman went to the parker’s house for the pool party that jorydan was throwing. he sighed softly and sat on one of the beach chairs looking around at everyone talking and having a good time.

“g’head, keep laughing.” he comments before shaking his own head, “oh and how’s xo by the way?” sure it was wrong to bring that up but he was already irritated with roman not taking him seriously.

at his brother’s words, it shocked roman as he raised his eyebrows and threw his hands up in surrender. “woah, okay chill no need to bring that up. i’m sorry.”

“did you come in here to make fun of me or are you actually interested in what i’m trying to plan?” sure levi had his dumb moments, but he was serious right now and wanted to get this necklace if his life depended on it, “for the record, this necklace sold for twenty-three point four mil. and was passed through different royal lineages.” 

he chuckles and shakes his head, “aight, aight, i’m sorry. you were saying?” he does his best to stop laughing at his brother as he listens to him. “aight i’m good, i’m good.”

levi was startled when his brother came into the family room to join him when he looked at his laptop. “oh uh just this mission i’m planning out and hopefully we or some can be apart of to get this diamond necklace.”

a chuckle leaves roman’s lips before looking at what levi had pulled up on his laptop. “okay what’s so special about a diamond necklace? can’t you just get one from jared’s or something? you tryna to impress a girl or something?”

levi sat in the family room on his laptop, notebook out as he wrote out the plans for this next mission. well he only hopes that this could be a next mission. he goes through what connor had told him and made sure to add that to the plans. 

roman had come back from the gym when he saw levi really focused on his laptop. “what’s up bro?” he asked walking into the family room looking over his shoulder as to what he was looking at. “okay, what’s this huh?”
