Ronen Rubinstein and Brian Michael Smith Instagram Story (June 12th, 2020)
@Harry_Styles: They know they are guilty anyway. They were caught being stupid on TV @ronenrubinstein. We should watch together.
ronenrubinstein: @Harry_Styles they always are, and it's always for something so dumb lol. but we should!
The thing that never fails to freak me out is the drawn out anticipation in horror movies. It’s that dreadful ascending violin that usually plays, and how everything in the scene just slows down. And it’s even worse when the music stops and the character thinks that they’ve been hallucinating, because you know that once they turn around, it’s game over. My heart can’t handle the jumpscares, even when they’re predictable. You have anything like that? That one trope or setting that screws with your head? To those who don’t know me, hello! I’m Romee and I’m a scaredy cat. Pleased to meet ya! | @townofbayview
I don’t like many scary movies sort of depends on the type. Like ones that are all jump scares and fake ghosts I dont like. I guess I like ones with killers that like hunt you or something like with real people. But nice to meet you Romee I like your name my names, Ronen.
Some might think Community was the highlight of my career, some might even say The Soup was but I think we all know that the highlight was getting to interview those crazy Tiger King people for the reunion episode. Those people are something else, let me tell you. Pretty sure half of them wanted to throw me to the tigers by the time I was done talking to them. Speaking of The Soup, though, can you believe E! had the audacity to bring it back without me? If my Netflix show hadn’t have been cancelled you can bet I’d be roasting the crap out of them. I might just make some secret Twitter account and blast them from there. As you can tell, I’m only a little bitter about it. For anyone I don’t know, I’m Joel. There’s a very high chance I might have made fun of you at some point over the last who knows how many years. I’ve lost track of how many people I’ve offended at this point but feel free to yell at me if I did.
Wait....wait what they are/have brought the Soup back? I had zero idea that the did that. shows that it cant do well without you. The Soup without Joel is like a firefighter show without fire it just cant happen.
So I got into town, unpacked some of the stuff that made it safely to my new place and promptly decided I wanted to find something fun to do. So, what's fun and exciting here in town for the proverbial new kid? I'm Ben by the way, and its a pleasure to make everyone's acquaintance.
@townofbayview
It depends on what you like to do? I mean I’m pretty new here myself. But like there are a lot of shops, bars, parks, farms and everything here. I like it so far if anything we can explore and find something to do?
ronenrubinstein: who thicks they can beat me at eating the most at the fair ?
wet tk (thanks @tarlosbuddie)
Ah that makes sense. I had no idea you filmed the show in Los Angeles, I thought you filmed in Atlanta to be honest.
Nope we did film a little on Location for shots and in NY for parts but it’s mostly all in CA/Los Angels.
Yeah, definitely better than what you initially thought. I uh… would hope that I’ll never have to expect some fucked up shit like that. I’m not gonna lie, man. I would be a little nervous to know what’s usually on your mind. I’m thinking mostly some disturbing shit, haha.
Same here, I don’t think anyone wants a head in a box sort of thing. I can too sometimes man but I try not too. I can think really weird if I want too and it’s not good.

ronenrubinstein: When I landed Lone Star I knew from day 1 they would play Old Town Road before we even started filming and I was right XD.
Harry_Styles: I love those shows. The stupid it brings out of some people is funny @ronenrubinstein
ronenrubinstein: me too you know when they are mad they are the most guilty. @Harry_Styles
Oh, awesome! I didn’t know that little slice of knowledge. Seamus is - surprisingly - Irish, so I figure it’s pretty common, especially around this coast. That’s pretty much the same story with my name, it doesn’t get more Irish than Seamus Patrick. But it was from a few generations ago on my father’s side. We’re all from Michigan. Do you go over to Israel much? Ok, maybe not English poetry, but how about Hebrew poetry? Or is that basically Psalms?
Now I’ve heard of Seamus before in passing, and shows and things. But I don’t think outside like family and stuff know anyone else named Ronen. But I do think Seamus is the classic Irish name that people go too. My parents and my siblings are the first to come to the states but we have yet to have any born in the states yet,. I have not been back, we never had the money before but I hope to go back soon. I know some poems and Psalms I grew up with it. I can speak it, read it and everything no problem. I learned English in school and had help my parents learn it too.
Small compared to where you are used to? Where exactly are you from?
I’m from Israel but moved to New York when I was five and Los Angels for work and now here.
