I have been working at www.Rides.ca since August 2013.
Rides.ca was created change the landscape by offering a better way to search. Through natural language, Rides.ca is a vehicle search engine that allows auto shoppers to find their next ride with the familiarity and ease that they already use to search the internet.
We are 50% owned by the New Car Dealer’s Association of BC and the balance is owned by Datton Technologies and Dealers in BC.
This ownership structure has really structured the go to market strategy around the dealer and the end user. We...

Through natural language, Rides.ca is a vehicle search engine that allows auto shoppers to find their next ride with the familiarity and ease that they already use to search the internet. This ownership structure has really structured the go to market strategy around the dealer and the end user. We are built by dealers for dealers and because of this we treat our dealers with respect.
An example of this is the pricing model. We only charge our dealers when customers interact with their inventory on our site. We also don't try to keep customers on our site. We provide many different avenues for the customer to continue to research the vehicle and the dealer. We have links to all the dealer's social media and websites.
Rides.ca is working on building traffic by implementing some simple SEO techniques. We have started a Tips and Advice Blog www.rides.ca/tips-and-advice/ as well as a blog for advertising and marketing advice for dealers, to help our customers become better at all things online. www.rides.ca/dealer-blog/

Dizzy Birds on the BBQ.
I've been having a lot of success with Rotisserie Chicken lately. A few tips.
1) Brine the birds overnight.
I use a cooler full of Ice and water. Salt, Rosemary, Lemon, Black Pepper Corns
2) When putting the birds on the spit. put a lemon in each cavity along with some fresh rosemary.
3) Cook them low and slow... 225f if you can keep your BBQ that low. You may have to put a wedge in your lid to keep it open to let some of the heat out.

Should I be able to celebrate fathers day if I don't have kids but I have #dogs?
I treat them like they are my kids. I walk them everyday, feed them, brush them, throw sticks for them. I'm not sure but I think I do more for my dogs than some of friends do for the their kids.
Well for all you non breading guys out there... I say Happy Father's Day!
