I wrote a blog post for the Vancouver Island Local History Society! I am one of the first people to ever write about Selina Frances Smith, a Black music teacher in 19th/20th century Victoria, BC. She has a very interesting scrapbook that is housed at the BC Archives that includes a collection of recital invitations, letters, awards, callings cards... you name it!
