SPOILERS Im having trouble following Excalibur too and don't fully understand the context, but did Rictor just reach his full omega level potential? And take out the whole bigoted council in one go? Cause thats super sexy and powerful of him (Still dont trust Apocalypse tho). Just seeing an openly gay character be so awesome and powerful, its an amazing feeling 😁😁😁

(I have never fully understood anything to do with the Externals and at this point I don’t care to ask lol.)

Hard truth: Rictor is one of the most powerful mutants on earth, and has been from day one. SO good to see that paid the respect its due, 100% agreed! Honestly, my favourite part of Excalibur is Ric getting plenty of time to shine instead of pushed to the background all the time like in the past.

I also still do not trust whatever long game Apocalypse is playing and I just hope Rictor’s not gonna pay for trusting him. (Do I think he means harm? No. But as its been very evident, he doesn’t care what it takes to pursue his goals, and that includes sacrificing people around him.) I also still do not like the possible implication that he cured Rictor’s depression...? Like. I’m guessing the intention was to say “having a good support system is really helpful in living with mental illness” but the way it’s worded here makes it sound like A’s saying “look at this depressed bastard all better now thanks to me and Krakoa.”

But that scene where Ric’s like “shut the fuck up and answer my question” was so good because obviously he’s not gonna just go with whatever A says no matter what.

…Oh my god though... It just occurred to me that Crule here took one look at Rictor, thought “isn’t that one of the kids that threw me in the pacific ocean” and died. That. Is. Amazing.

I don't think Apocalypse means that Krakoa can cure depression I think it's more like the mutant community of Krakoa made Rictor feel better. It's like if you are LGBT+ or POC and you find a place with people like you that celebrate you, you'll feel more confortable and that helps with anxiety and depression.

Can someone explain to me what the significance of it taking 18 tries for Kitty to be resurrected? Kurt certainly reacts like it means something, but I can’t think of anything.

theories on how rangi could have become immortal because i refuse to believe kyoshi outlived her after they promised eachother they would be there for one another till the of the end of their days…

- I dont see why kyoshi could have not taught her Lao Ge’s method seeing as it was more of a mind over matter method, literally willing your body to stay a certain way and im sure she had more than enough motivation to stay alive so long, after all who’s gonna take care of kyoshi…

- There was also guru pathik who taught us “immortality” could be achieved through mediating and spiritual enlightenment, the air nomad population was still active during kyoshi’s time so she could have learned from them and extended her life

- and finally merging with a spirit, i know some of us were like yesss rangi as the painted lady, but after doing some research of spirts and humans merging it probably would not be a good idea… after some time humans might be corrupted or completely overtaken by the spirit. while at first it might be them after sometime the spirit starts to slowly take over, after all you’re merging with them, not them with you…
