To piggyback on the article I posted about Dan’s high school, our local continuation high school held their graduation at Dan’s alma mater and right afterward, there was a shooting in the parking lot that left one person dead and three others injured. 😢

Just got back from meeting all the fifth graders at the park by our school. I took water balloons and otter pops for them. It was good to see all the kids, but just that little bit of time spent, and I’m pooped. One of the kids got suspended for today because he threatened the sub yesterday. I told the boss that I don’t think he should go on the field trip on Friday either. Ugh. Knowing our district, they will let him go. It is so frustrating to know that many of my kids have fallen apart since I left.

Anyway, brb. Gotta take a nap. 😴

My sleep score has been in the shitter since my surgery. Last night it was 54. I can’t get comfortable trying to sleep sitting up, and the sling doesn’t help. Ugh. I’m going to ask the doctor if I can at least sleep without the sling since I’m a back sleeper. 🤞🏽

Finishing my report cards today even if it kills me. I want to sit in the sun and get some color on these white ass legs but I won’t let myself until I finish my work. Trying to find any motivation at all. lol.

It felt good to go back to the gym but it’s wild how much we use our shoulders. I had to skip a lot of exercises but I still got in a pretty good workout. Now it’s sore.

I voted today. Just doing my part! Hopefully my classmates understand the group project and do the same! 🤞🏽

First day back at the gym since surgery. I could only do lower body and right arm moves in class, but damn it feels good to get back into it. I don’t know why I don’t just work out on my own at home like Dan does. But if you really know me then you know I’m lazy af. Ha!
