      Rhett laughed and followed  her  in,  toeing  his       shoes off by the  door  as  she  walked  around.       He ran his fingers through his hair as he made       his way into  the  kitchen,  picking  through  his       fridge for a combination of leftovers that  would       make a good dinner.

"I'm sure that you'll end up thinking of something convincing to bribe me with at one point.  You have more to bribe with than I do right now, anyway."  She took her own shoes off when she noticed what Rhett was doing, following after him into the kitchen and leaning one hip against the doorway.  "Still.  It's a lot nicer than I'm used to."

      he gave a light shrug of  his  shoulders,  fingers       lacing through Rori’s as he led her up the stairs.       Rhett let go of  her  hand  when  they  got  to  the        door, smiling as he opened it up to let her in.

"Mm, you know, I'm definitely not going to say no to that.  So you might be able to convince me."  Once Rhett had let go of her hand, Rori started into the house, glancing around and humming softly.  "This is a really nice house."

"I don't know how well I'll do, but at least I can say that I tried."  She smiled back at him, letting Rhett take her hand and following him along.  Giving his hand a light squeeze, Rori nodded.  "Think I'll take you up on that."

"More often than I’d like. I can’t help it, I’m a Pisces," Kara laughed lightly. She waved a hand dismissively. "Nah, you’re fine. If you call that snapping, you must not get very angry, huh?" "To be honest, I'll probably be daydreaming a lot myself here, so I can't blame you."  Rori smiled, shaking her head.  "Well, I was kind of snappish when you weren't really doing anything to warrant it.  It depends who you talk to be about the angry thing too."  She pushed her fingers through her hair as she spoke, sliding her free hand into her pocket.  "None of the above, I'm an asset.  What about you?"

"Either one is fine, I'm really not going to be picky about anything."  Rori replied with a quick smile.  "Right, okay.  Uhm, thanks for this, by the way.  I really wasn't looking forward to going back to the cells."
