ive been having dreams lately where i go to the movies and then realize the next day (in the dream) i must have fallen asleep because i don't remember anything from them (real movies not dream ones, last nights dream i was supposed to see paprika again) and it only clicked today that i keep falling asleep after sitting down because i dont have the movies memorized so therefore i cannot actually watch them. sad!

#YOU WOKE ME UP TO TALK ABOUT BONDS #like yeah. i dont have the dreams downloaded in my brain so it just skips it instead of making up a new movie #this has happened multiple nights in a row but last night was so vivid #like i had the physical ticket (very back left corner) i got the last ticket to a sold out screening #i got my popcorn and talked to people and then my brain skipped the movie #and paprika is one of my favorites!!!! so i was pissed for like. an hour today. so i thouhjt about it more than usual

me when i like the 2-3h movie: directors should never have to compromise their vision to appeal to something as fickle as people's "patience". anyone complaining about the movie's length is simply a tiktok-addicted philistine.

me when i don't like the 2-3h movie: once i become god emperor of earth anyone trying to make a movie longer than 90 minutes will be shot.

idk regular life update. im a little over a month out from when i quit my job. i ended up getting severance. i had been so unbelievably burnt out that it is crazy how much extended downtime is making me feel like a person again. im back to enjoying my hobbies. im watching movies. im back into reading. im going to coffee shops. im hanging out with people. quit your job that is killing you. it is killing you.
