I listened to this again just now and I noticed something in the song that I haven’t noticed the billions of other times I’ve listened to it.

The second to last time he sings “You were the one that I wasn’t supposed to lose,” directly after the bridge, you can hear a feminine voice singing those lyrics back at him in the background.

i heard it and i completely froze and my jaw dropped. oh my god. this singular detail is making me insane ok. oh my god.
