i feel like heās a fan of the ribs idk
something about pinning one of your hands above your head with ease while counting each one of your ribs as he gently rakes and wiggles his fingertips between the spaces until youāre throwing your head back in hystericsā¦. it appeals to him
he also rarely pins you too
any stray punch or kick from you feels like a feather to him so you can squirm and thrash however much you want because it doesnāt really make a difference to him
plus he thinks itās cute to see you curl up and move this way and that to try and get away even though you donāt really want to
just looking at his face is enough to make the experience 10x more embarrassing because he looks SO FONDLY at you whilst reducing you to a giggly mess, the sheer amount of love in his eyes is ridiculous
he defo laughs with you
he finds laughter, especially yours, to be sooo contagious so he really canāt help himself
i also think he has a habit of kissing you whilst tickling you too

I need to find more fanworks (fic/art) that acknowledge the fact that Derek and Avery are meant to be real people. And I don't mean real in the "non-fictional and existing in our universe" sense, I mean it in the sense that they're not meant to be minecraft characters, they're meant to be people playing minecraft.
Derek didn't touch Avery's chest with a final shove, he clicked a mouse button. When his mind finally gave out, Derek gasped his final breath at his desk in front of his computer. Avery's game probably crashed as the world corrupted, only giving back an error message as he desperately tried to log back in.
Avery probably had to hear about people's new year's celebrations and all he could think about was what happenned. Did Avery find Derek's youtube channel and final message? Was he able to look Derek Hutchins up? Find an obituary? Maybe send condolences or visit his grave? Maybe even attend the funeral?
Avery never knew Derek. He doesn't know his family, his job, his hobbies, his favourite colour, his face. They never actually met. He can't actually grieve him.
