You know what's truly messed up? You are finally trusting someone and telling them secrets, your life story, your fears, your accomplishments, your worst nightmares, your abandonment issues from people you've trusted in the past.

That person decides you're not worth it or they don't need you anymore and they take all of that personal information with them. They take pieces of you with them and they don't even look back.

Life doesn’t end at 23. 30 isn’t old. Fetishising youth as the ultimate desirable characteristic in a person is actively harmful to both young and old people. Some of us lost our teenage years to abuse and recovery, and can only begin living when we’re at a different life stage.  Literally knock it off, the lot of you.
