A groan escaped Lucia as she listened, putting more weight onto the girl. “That’s not fair. You looked like you might know something.” She sighed dramatically before taking the other’s hand and putting it to her hair. “Braid my hair,” she commanded. “Do you know if there’s a pool around, then? I miss my father’s water slide. I was going to have him construct me my own personal hot springs, but he kept putting it off, that lazy bum.”
Rosie tried her best to hold in her small noise of discomfort at the girl’s weight shifted slightly, “I’m sorry to have let you down.” She pursed her lips slightly before she began to comb her fingers through the other’s hair. Her fingers began weaving themselves through the girl’s dark flowing locks in an effort to separate the strands in order to braid them. “Oh my gosh, I would love to find a pool around here! I miss swimming so much! We had this awesome pool at my beach house in the Hamptons, I think you would like it… it had a waterfall and slide. After I finish braiding your hair do you want to go looking for one?”
