Hm... I should find a tag for this whole Team Cybonic AU. I did have a bigger Sonic Boom AU (or sort of "overhaul") that leaned much more on the world and concepts of the Rise of Lyric game, rather than the TV show, though still incorporated several plots and characters from that series.

Its working name was just "Synergy" – based on the original vision for Sonic Boom. Maybe I could include the cybernetic duplicates in that?

But how did Amy react to Rosette's new look?

Oh, it would've been a pretty big shock at first! Despite knowing that their cybernetic clones aren't 100% like them, I imagine a part of Amy would've still subconsciously expected them to remain exactly the same as their organic counterparts. The fact they're practically robots makes it somewhat ironic that's not the case.

Seeing "herself" become a completely different person might've been a little hard to process initially and sparked both doubts and curiosity. She would've been a bit weird about it, unsure what these changes might say about her own character. Life on the island and the team dynamic feel so static, like nothing would ever truly deviate from the status quo, so it's especially jarring seeing how close Rose and Cyan have grown as friends and how much her interests and priorities have shifted.

Of course, she'd get over it in time, though still can't help but wonder how different things would be if she travelled the world, living in cities full of all kinds of people and new experiences every day, instead of the daily routine of their crazy village...

Tech for sure would be the team's main source for any cool new upgrades. I imagine most of them would be geared towards quality of life and efficiency, but there would definitely also be some more or less experimental features with questionable results haha!

It's been a few years since I've thought about any of this, but I think I had this whole idea of Tech's interest in robotics and innovations eventually leading to a massive expansion of the city and its metal inhabitants, turning it into more of a futuristic metropolis like Metal City or Monopole in the Sonic Riders games!

Can't remember what I called it, but this "upgraded" city would become quite the attraction, introducing candidates like the Babylon Rogues and even Tekno the Canary to the scene <3

Oh wow, hi! I haven't used this blog in ages--it's an amazing coincidence I decided to log into tumblr at all today!!!

I'm flattered you like what I made years ago! Back then I had actually started sketching a few options for Tech and Steel, but never finished them as I got busy with school and work :(

Now that I'm reminded of these, it's making me want to rewatch Sonic Boom and get back into all of the little Team Cybonic ideas I had...

So, to answer your question: Sometime soon maybe! (but no promises!)
