Cafe Review- Creature of Habit- Springvale
I decided to go out for a morning Breakie on a Sunday morning. I was a bit lazy to drive far, so I wanted to try the Creature of Habit. Located conveniently in the Springvale homemaker (The one with Ikea, you can’t miss it!).
WIfi - Available (Also could use the Public Homemaker’s one)
Seating - 40 +
Service - Order from the counter. The staff were very attentive and quick to take away finished dishes (Which is a stark difference from the bad reviews it received from zomato. But then, it was 6 months ago).

Menu:
I ordered the Beans & Eggs on Toast with a Soy Chai.
Soy Chai was ok. Like a regular Soy Chai (What else was I expecting?), But the Beans was so yum!!! It had a lovely balance of spice and herbs in it and combined with the toast was so heavenly! The toast gave it an excellent crunch texture, Also Avo salad on the side! I love it! But then, I am so weak for any Avo dishes or drinks.
On a side note, I sat at the back of the store. It was so bright and lovely actually. Normally, I would avoid any seating with direct sunlight, but maybe I was having an off day that time.Â
I quite like the setting also. It was clean and had an easy flow to it.
Would I come here again? Sure. It’s nearby my place and I haven’t tried their brew yet. Can’t pass a full judgement without trying their beans right?Â
Random thoughts corner!
Melbourne! You’re Hot and You’re Cold! Make up your mind day! But laletly given the choice I decided to wear as little as possible cause I dislike the heat and sun more and of course...
Sorry, couldn’t resist. Anyway, there also the fact that I feel used sometimes. I should really stop overdoing on the nice thing. What ever happened to that girl who just do whatever she wants? She’s gone soft... I need to remember not to inconvenience myself when helping others. I mean, helping is great, but I’m just getting the blunt ends of things with little recognition of my efforts. I need to relearn the word “No”
I mean it really hits me when I read this quote last night... “I forgot that you only remember I exist when you need something from me”.. Yeah, I feel like such a pushover sometimes. But it will end. I’m going to pick myself up and build a bigger defense that looks so vulnerable that you won’t see it coming when I push you down in to the pits of nothingness. Yes, dear readers, I can be dark if I want to be. Â
Yours truly,
RB
