things had been... tense, since the war ended. rose wasn’t blind to that. the crystal gems may have won but not without great sacrifice and she could feel the weight on both her and pearl’s heart pulling too tightly. thus, a ‘date night’ had been put in order, in attempt to lighten the mood between them and, more ambitiously, not to feel so alone in their victory.

she had observed the tradition from many a human in passing, and the most charming event seemed to be a picnic - the only problem was location. she couldn’t imagine many places the two hadn’t seen before, so something more sentimental was the obvious choice. so she packed her wicker basket with, admittedly, more trinkets than food - she couldn’t much see pearl eating at all, let alone enjoying the activity.

it doesn’t take much time for her to find the gem - the beach was small, uninhabited near their base. she approached with basket in arm and outstretched hand, giggling softly.

i have bpd and a really hard time coping with people who are more popular than me esp with rose

like i have anxiety attacks abt it and i end up abandoning blogs a lot and my activity is already really spotty

idk i just feel like im taking up space here and id be better off gone
